WL std. view or AKL std view?

Hi All,

Which would you choose and why? We are going to be traveling with friends of ours and their three children. We are going to put there youngest in our room so it will be two adults and two children in one room and two adults and one child in another. I am hoping to be able to book two rooms with an AP discount and they want to keep the budget under $6K but they want to do full sitdown meals every night. I just worked up the numbers and a savanna view room at the AKL with an AP discount puts us right up against the $6k number so I was thinking about booking a standard view and then just taking it from there.

So looking for all opinions. Which would you choose and why. We would be arriving Nov 19th, 2005 and departing on Nov 26th, 2005.

I personally book AKL to be able to sit on the balcony & relax and watch the animals while I am having my morning coffee. If I was going to book at standard room, I would go with WL with boat to MK and beach view of electric water show.
