WL room upgrade??

I just signed in to check my upcoming trip reservation on the Disney website(Feb. 1st ) and though I reserved a woods view(AP rate) it's showing now as a Courtyard view....Does that mean I was upgraded or error?...the ressie never showed that before.

I have friends who have had the same thing happen, and it was, indeed, an upgrade. Has the dollar amount changed any?

Same dollar amount as we were quoted for a woods view. Actually I booked online, never called Disney for reservation and I printed it which clearly shows woods view....Not complaining, would be a nice upgrade, though I like the woods view(ground floor facing otter pond), it's so peaceful and quiet.

That wouldn't be an upgrade for us. Last 2 times staying WL woods view, we've had a view of MK fireworks.

Exactly! we have had MK view when we have booked Woods view....I'll wait until we arrive to change.

It sounds like an upgrade to me. When we stayed there with a woods view last year, we had no view of the fireworks from MK, so that's not every room that has that option.

I love Disney upgrades! We tentatively scheduled the Contemporary for this October and then got upgraded to Bay Lake, so the trip was a definite after that!

Sounds like an upgrade. I like the Courtyard view better than the woods view (have had both) and that's what I want to go with next time I stay there.

We check into WL on Friday and booked woodview. I checked our reservation today, after reading your post, and we have been upraded to Courtyard view Last year we went the same week and stayed at AKL, we booked standard and we got Savannah. I love January and low crowds
