WL Room Request

Hola,

Can anyone tell me how to request a specific room at WL ? What # to call, when to call, or should I fax request ?

I requested a certain location when I booked our room and I also faxed a request. However, when we checked in, the room wasn't what I had requested so I went to the check in counter and a cast member assisted me in finding a room which accomodated some of our requests. We had to move to the smoking section of the building, but that wasn't a problem. The cast member was very helpful. She actually put two rooms on hold for me until I took a look at them. We love the WL.

WL's fax number is 407-824-3232. Best to fax 3-4 days before you arrive. I don't know where to recommend you to request since I'm not sure what view you have reserved. Do you want a quiet room, bunk beds, connecting door, no connecting door, facing MK side, facing WLV side (if woods view), facing WL courtyard or WLV pool if courtyard view?? Lots of factors on that one.

Wherever you decide WL is a beautiful resort, we've always had a great experience staying there!

Right now we have a courtyard view, and a woodlands view. We have a big party, so we need two rooms. They didn't have two rooms with the same view, so we had to split it up. As for the courtyard view, it doesn'treally matter if it's pool side or not. Since that will be my parents' room, I think whichever is quieter (and that's probably courtyard). Thanks for any help!

Actually, the woodland view would be the quieter of the two (unless you are very close to the otter pond!). If you are in the inner part of the courtyard, you will hear the waterfalls (which IMHO, is very nice!) and you may be able to hear passersby if you are on a lower floor.

Thanks so much for your help. We actually have concierge the first night & then the courtyard & woodlands for the rest of the week. Hopefully, we'll be able to get changed over to all courtyard & woodlands by then. I'm just grateful to have been able to get the reservation at such a late date. We have never stayed at the WL but this trip is for my mom to see Disney at Christmas, she has had a very tough year with her health & the boards convinced me she will love it at WL. I'm just used to having months of planning & now feel like we have just a short time to get the perfect week together at a resort we're not familiar with at all. The CM that helped with our reservation was so incredibly nice, he tried many times to find 2 available rooms so now I can try for a room request, but we'll be happy just to be there. Thanks again.
