WL Honeymoon Suite, view -- Guaranteed or requested?

The other thread about how guarantees aren't always guaranteed has me worried. I've booked the WL Honeymoon suite, specifically for the MK view. I asked several times if I had the MK view and was promised I did. Now, checking over my reservation I see there's nothing that indicates that. Does anyone know, for the WL Honeymoon suite, is my MK view a different type of room (with a different price) or did I just make a request?

Not sure where the honeymoon suites are located, but if it was a guarantee I would think it would be its own bookable category( like CR Tower MK view).If it is only showing the Honeymoon suite, than my guess is MK view is a request.

It's a request, not a bookable category.

There are 4 Honeymoon Suites at the WL.

2 of them face the MK. The other 2 are on the opposite side of the lobby, and overlook the roofs of the WL Villas.

There is NO GUARANTEE that you will have one of the MK View suites. However, they could be telling you that it is "guaranteed" because you COULD be the only couple currently booked in those rooms for that time period (or one of two couples). They ALWAYS put people in the MK view rooms first when they are available.

I would call to make sure it is noted on your reservation. When you check in, ask again. If you are NOT given one of those rooms, politely ask about the possibility of moving into it later in the week, if it becomes available.

Okay, so if it's a request and not a bookable category, does anyone know if I can use my PIN code discount on a new reservation? The MK view is more important to us than the CL room.

Off topic a little bit, but does anyone know how much the honeymoon suites cost at WL?

With a 30% PIN code in value season our rate would have been $349 per night. I was really surprised by how reasonable that is for a club level room. Of course, now I'm willing to get rid of it... oh the things I do to ensure I can see fireworks at night.

Well, to be honest, the ONLY other rooms at the WL with views of the MK are STANDARD rooms and *some* Standard View concierge rooms.

There is no "MK View" as a bookable category at the WL.

If you NEED an MK view, and you want the assurance of being able to book it as a room category, your choices are the following:

1) Contemporary:
Tower-Theme Park View,
Tower-Atrium Club Theme Park View (Club Level), Tower-Tower Club Theme Park View (Club Level 14th floor---harder to get)

2) Polynesian:
MK View
Lagoon View Concierge

3) Grand Floridian:
MK View
or
There are Honeymoon Suites (Concierge) at the Grand that have a Castle view...I don't know the room category or the cost, but they have a king bed and jacuzzi tub. They are in the main building

As far as the Lodge, the higher Northeast facing rooms look toward MK. Because of the tree growth the higher the floor the better.

Not sure the price on the suites. I stayed in a MK facing one too, it was awesome. Very romantic with the tub in the room. The only off thing I can say is that you have to stand up on the balcony to be able to see but no biggie.
