WL Deluxe Room

Has anyone ever gotten a discount for a deluxe room at the WL?

I have tried many times and we never have been able to get a discount for the deluxe rooms at WL [except AP discount at the Boardwalk, but we didn't stay there]. It maybe our timing and maybe discounts exist, but it hasn't happened for us. Maybe someone else will have something more positive here for you. I'm curious too.
