WL - Courtyard View Concerns

Hi there,

Just read a good thread on here about the variations
in "woods" view rooms at the WL - and how many people
have needed to request a change in rooms to get the
view they are entitled to.

Well, I have a related question...

I have 2 rooms booked at WL for next month at the
"courtyard" view level. Are there similiar concerns
there? And what should I be considering a true
"Courtyard" view? With 2 rooms...obviously it's
a little harder to demand better views...but want
to know what our travel agent got us into.
I'm excited for the rooms at the discounted rate
we got...but firsthand reports from people
would be a GREAT help!

It is hard to tell what kind of room you are going to get! In December the hotels are going to be pretty full so I think it is just luck of the draw. I would just suggest you asking at check in for the best view possible! Rooms are not pre-assigned so you can do that when you check in. I dont think getting a courtyard view will be a problem. There are two different "courtyards" to look at though. There is the one to the main pool area and one over by the vacation club area but in my opinion they are both very nice! The WL is a wonderful hotel and my favorite! You will love the atmosphere anyway, no matter where you are! Good luck!

If you booked and paid for a courtyard view then that's what you should have. If your view is anything different then ask to be moved.

I've had both courtyard views and much prefer the main hotel one over the DVC side. I just feel the main courtyard view is prettier. Both can be a little noisy though.
