Was just reading reviews on allearsnet.com of WL. The only two complaints i saw were room size and the beds. We have only stayed in value or moderates and these rooms are at least the size of the moderate (POFQ) we stayed in so we won't notice anything there. But has anyone had horrible experiences with the beds at WL? We are doing a woods view with 2 queens in the room (3 of us)...any huge complaints from you guys?

Not sure how old the review was that you were reading, but all of the rooms have gotten new bed within the last year or so....I found them to be very comfy.

My cousin and I just stayed at the WL in July....We had a room w/ two queen beds...we both agreed that the beds were the most comfortable beds we'd ever slept in....

Cheers,
Josh

We were there this past December-the beds were fine for me-I prefer the Westin's "Heavenly Bed" the best-but, WL's were fine. I think they had just replaced them in the renovations the summer before we were there. They were much better than CSR's beds. We stayed there in Dec. 2004 and they were hard as a rock and only double beds-WL beds were queen sized.

Last year we had a pool side view with a bunkbed and queen bed, The beds were comfortable -not too soft or hard. The beds did not squeek. A 5' 8" person can fit into a bunkbed (bottom bunk is recommended).
The room size is great for our family of four :thumbsup2

The new matresses are great and they have redesigned the fottboard of the bed so you no longer know your knee on it!

Great! Thanks for all the replies. DH has a bad back and needed to be prepared in case there was a problem. We always take his muscle relaxers on these trips just in case being on his feet too much causes a problem! Would hate for the BED to be the issue.

I find the beds there comfortable. They are queen beds, and the mattress was comfortable to me.
The rooms are on the small size for a deluxe resort, but the rates are also lower than other deluxes as well. The rooms are still larger than the moderate resorts.
