WL at Grand Californian

I had a WL for June 13-16 for a studio at the Grand Californian. I honestly did not have much hope because last summer, I was only able to get a one bedroom for 2 nights and NO luck with a studio. I was SO excited when I received the email today that my WL has come through.

I honestly thought we were going to have to cancel our trip to DL on our way to Aluani.

Congrats, it so nice when things fall into place. I have to chuckle because when I first saw your post I forgot that WL stands for wait list and could not imagine how the WL (wilderness lodge) has anything to do with the GC

I kind of laughed too and had to really think about what WL stood for too....in all honesty though, the architect that designed WL (resort) also designed GC, so there IS something in common between the two resorts (he also designed AKL too (I've been doing a lot of reading lately )

OP, congrats on your waitlist coming through....now you can go and plan out your trip . We will be there around the time that you are (we leave on the 14th) so maybe we will run into each other .
