Ed Giacomin. Long time NY Ranger shockingly traded to the Detroit Red Wings. The Red Wings visited Madison Square Garden very soon after and the New York fans cheered for the Red Wings and booed the Rangers.




Bernie Parent. He probably had the best two back to back seasons of any goaltender ever. The infamous “Fog Game” in the 1975 Stanley Cup Finals in Buffalo.
