WL #1 family resort

I am surprised that I haven't seen a thread about this. I was watching CNN (or one of the other 24 hour news shows) and saw that Family Fun had ranked the top 10 family resorts. WL was #1. (Hmm, isn't Family Fun owned by Disney?)

Anyway, the funny part was the pictures that they were showing of the resort. They had this great commentary about the mountain lodge, etc. and as they spoke they were showing pictures of the AKL. It was funny to listen to the description while looking at a very African looking resort!

HAHAHAHAHAAAA!!!!! Pics of th AKL. That's too funny!!!! The WL is an awesome hotel and totally deserves all the credit it receives. We have made some wonderful memories there. I think I remember reading on the boards that WL was rated #1 in travel & leisure mag. I get the mag so I saw it with my own 2 eyes, but I know I saw where someone else had mentioned it

The list was actually NOT put out by Disney-owned Family Fun magazine, but rather by the pretigious, independent, and well-respected Travel & Leisure magazine.

Well, they showed a picture of Family Fun magazine during the segment...but then again, they were showing pictures from the AKL. I am happy to hear that it wasn't chosen by a Disney owned magazine. I did see that link and wonder if it was chosen by 2 different magazines.
