45 min on the TM this morning. Everything felt fine.

Dana - WTG on the run! I totally have the same problem with trying to PR in every run.

OK I am in total taper maddness. Biked a little yesterday, but that is all. We leave tomorrow. Pray that it does not rain on Saturday in Myrtle Beach, SC.
It is really amazing how much I have gotten done this week...b/c I have not ran or biked. My house is clean, I have cleaned out drawers, closets, and lots of other stuff. Who knew!
I also start training tonight so I can assist with Diagnosing. I will be working along side a Doctor, but I am really excited. I LOVE trying to figure stuff out like this.

Ok I'm getting a complex here Come on guys cut me some slack.

Did everyone get that email from Disney Sports? It was thanking me for signing up and saying the Tower of Terror race was full.

It also talked about the after race party. Said the Rockin Rollercoaster would be going and there would be a live band, some thing about a band you never heard of, I think they said AeroSmith or something like that. Should be lots of fun anyway.

I guess we need to shop for a better camera so we can get some good night pictures of AeroSmith at the Tower of Terror. Erica likes them, but I suppose being walkers we will be far in the back of the pack of people watching the concert. Need a camera with a zoom.

Ok, seriously if AeroSmith were gonna be there I would just scream like a little girl. I'd be worse than Kristi with the whole GooGoo Dolls thing!! After getting excited I went and looked at my email from WDW Sports this morning and this is what it said.

Post-Event Party

After the race, runners are invited to an exclusive race party which will last from 9:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. The party will include a live band. The following attractions will be open for the The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror™, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster® starring AEROSMITH, and The Great Movie Ride. You can buy additional party tickets for your friends and family. If your friends and family want to watch the race, they must buy a party ticket. Everyone will need a party ticket to enter Disney-MGM Studios from 9:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. There will be no spectator viewing available outside of Disney-MGM Studios. Admission to the party requires a separate ticket, annual passes and Cast Member ID's will not be valid for admission to the party.

Unless I missed something I think they are referring to the fact that the Rock'n'Roller Coaster is called the "Rock'n'Roller Coaster starring AeroSmith" Please tell me I am wrong and that Steven Tyler will be there and I will be in heaven!!

The new camera I bought for the Goofy takes great pics. I look forward to listening and getting pics of Aerosmith. They are a great band

This is the beginning of the Tower of Terror annual adventure so I guess Disney is doing it right. The better this first event goes over it will set the stage for all the future events.

Erica is really looking forward to the evening and the band. Robert I'm glad you have that contact at Disney that confirmed the news.

(I figure even Disney wouldn't charge $25.00 for non-racers for 3 rides unless there was more.) I'm only doing the 6.5K, so hopefully I'll be able to get a good vantage point if I survive the Twilight Zone 6.5K White Abyss at the beginning.

I can see it now-

I'll get a call from my daughter's second grade teacher (who sings in our church choir, by the way) that my child fell asleep in class on Monday morning after the race. I'll be sputtering through an explanation involving WISH and Dead Last Finish and riding Tower of Terror over and over... and the AEROSMITH concert that started at midnight... Would that be a good time to mention I'm keeping her out of school for at least the Monday after the Marathon?!

Good news- finished my 3 miles today so I got to fill in my day in GREEN on my training calendar. And tomorrow is a rest day-- sweet!
