Kim-Are they putting something in your water there? You guys were walking nuts yesterday! Is it sad that I'm kind of jealous?
Leana-Sorry to hear about Beerfest, it sounded so cool when you were talking about it. I was tempted to have another go at the Harry Potter books too but I'm working on Tom Saywer now so Harry will have to wait a little while. I'm worried that the last book may leave me feeling off. Maybe I could do books on tape while at work.
Judy-It's funny I was just discussing bunions with my aunt and her husband yesterday. (Her husband is an orthopedic surgeon. Figured he's my best bet for advice without going to the doctor.) My aunts bunions are so bad that I'm not sure how she even walks, her toes were at an outrageous angle. Anywho... she was telling me she gets her sneakers specially widened for her bunions. They mark where her bunions are on the sneaker then stretch them at that point. My uncle said sometimes they recommend that before surgery because sometimes the right shoes can help. It might be something to ask your doctor about. (Hopefully my new shoes will help me and I'm not at the shoe stretching or surgery stage yet.) Either way I hope things get better for you soon!!!
Stacey-The last part of my run is a run up my hill. (Thanks to my parents for buying the house at the top of a large hill.) I've actually gotten in the practice of walking my hill both ways and not counting towards my distance because I hit enough hills on my run. But I look at it as great conditioning for my butt even if my times aren't great for the hilly sections.
Martha-I probably could hide the book but it's probably bad enough I check DIS out at work. I'm glad summers are slow!
