Wk of June 10--WISH Walking/Running Club

Hey team. Yesterday was a stressful day of dealing with my student loans, I didn't do any xt because I wasn't feeling well and I just was feeling down. I decided to let myself sleep this morning and will do my run after work. Luckily today is a cool day so it should be nice for a run. After not getting any exercise yesterday I'm actually looking forward to it, I need to get my mind off things for awhile.

Judy, Good luck at the doctors today, I"ll hope for the best. And of course you can give yourself pixie dust. But here's more for you. :wizard:

Dave, I fail to see the problem here. It sounds like she has everything she needs. One day you might thank her for being so well prepared for your walks!

not much to post in the way of training here either...my blister is starting to peel off, so I cant really use that for an excuse, and the rain shows no sign of stopping ('course that's 'cause it's bike week, it always rains during bike week) so I guess I wont be able to use that for an excuse, and will have to use the treadmill...

Megan - Thank you! I need all the :wizard: I can get. I'm :scared: of surgery.

Oh and please please please let's identify our Daves! :rotfl: I started reading that as if it was written to MSDave and I was thinking his "new friend" had everything she needs! :rotfl2:

Hi,everyone! I am still trying to read all the posts, but in case you are interested in why I have been MIA, here is what I posted last night on the eating accountability thread:

Hi, everyone!
I am sorry I havent' been here in a while, but life has been completely insane. I am on the organizing committee for Special Olympics summer games which I absolutely LOVE!!! The event was Friday and Saturday (and I am one of the co-chairs responsible for all meals except Saturday breakfast) and DS's 8th grade graduation was Sunday and his party was right afterwards. So, I'll have to share with you the email I sent to some friends explaining my "neglect":

Okay, here is how events unfolded last week:
DMIL arrived Wednesday. Weds evening Howard insisted I meet all at Costco for party stuff and then dinner. I got there from my office at 8 (having left my cell phone on my desk), did my party shopping list real quick, dinner at applebee's, on the road home at 9:20 from 20 minutes away. Highway closed; I'm in my car alone with no cell phone, in a strange area, can't read signs, etc. and finally get home close to 10:30 with Howard and DMIL very worried. Actually, I was proud I found my way home. Bed was at some normal time, probably 11:30. YAY!

Thursday -- up early and to the gym before work; worked until 10:30 pm; highway entrance closed; major backroad that I know was closed; can't figure out how to get from point A to point B. WHat should have been 7 mile drive in 12 mins turns into me arriving home 11:18 without having had anything since lunch. Up until 1:15 doing special olympics paperwork and 100 crunches & pushups.

Friday -- up at 5:45; arrive at campus (30 mins away) before 7 a.m. (that was the last time my bottom touched down until 10:05pm). Supervised all food prep, service, and clean up for lunches, dinner, and victory party. Missed opening ceremonies because we were too busy. ( Finished serving lemonade and pretzels at 9:45 pm, clean-up done by 10:05, sat down next to DMIL in arena lobby to wait out storm. On the road home by 10:30. Home by 11. DSalmost14 tries on clothes for graduation and pants and sleeves on suit are at least 2 inches too short. !!!!!! After settling down from my panic, I did Special Olympics paperwork on the computer; checked work email and responded to some; 100 crunches & push ups; in bed by 1:30 am.

Saturday -- up at 5:30; shopping for additional lunch supplies and arrive at campus by 6:45. Supervise and execute all meal prep, service & clean-up. Spend some time at main medical facility nearly hyperventilating after DS fell down the stadium steps and concrete-burned entire outside of leg, with 3 large oozing, seriously "indented" abrasion wounds & 2 lacerations (thank God no injuries above his hips and nothing broken). I can't even imagine the scarring he is going to have. A lifetime of regret for a moment of stupidity -- some girl with a major crush was chasing him on the stadium steps. Left campus at 6:30 pm; Howard took DS with him and stopped to pick up some suits for him to try on at home. I went to Costco for an errand for a friend and dinner for Saturday night houseguests (oh, did I mention I had a houseful of people Saturday night for the graduation?), to the grocery store for Sunday breakfast items for all houseguests, to the pharmacy for the list of medical supplies recommended by doctor who took care of DS. Home to do wound care, dinner for all, dealing with suit issues. Straighten house; gather pictures and find frames and create displays for graduation party; gather all serving pieces, etc. & lay out all non-perishable food items for Sunday breakfast & party. Paperwork on computer for SO after-event notes. crunches & push-ups. In bed by 1:30. (I was so grateful my friend Marie hemmed DS's pants Saturday night and she and DD18 helped cut up stuff for the party. YAY!!)

Sunday -- up at 5:45. Wrap brother's bday presents; pick up cake, balloon bouquets, bday cards (to replace lost cards); home by 7:50. Leave at 8 for Mass. Attend Mass & Graduation & reception. Home by 11:45. Set up for party. Last guests leave at 7:40pm. Clean-up. Return several phone calls. Thank you calls to friends who helped with party. In bed by 11:30. Phone rings at 11:38 for Howard's mom. When I can't find her, I realize she's in DS's room because I never put the guestroom back together after other guests used it Saturday night. So, I made the bed & straightened the room and got back to bed by midnight.

Up yesterday morning at 6:30 (didn't make it to the gym). Howard took his Mom to Atlantic City last night. I had a project deadline of midnight, and ended up being done and out of the office around 8:10. Went home, had dinner, did crunches & sit-ups, some reading and in bed by midnight. Up this morning by 7.

Geez, I am so exhausted. I think I figured out I'd had less than 20 hours sleep in 4 nights, but my average is improving because I am up to almost 27 hours in 5 nights! LOL!

So, exercise (except for crunches & push-ups) hasn't happened since Thursday a.m. Tonight I have to spend time with DMIL who is leaving tomorrow. The gym won't happen in the morning either since we are taking her to the airport by 7:30 a.m. Maybe tomorrow night! Food has been so bad since Saturday night. Things are under control again today, but I fear the scale!

Okay, that was long and boring! Sorry, dear WISH friends for exposing you to that. I know, I know, one excuse after another!

Life HAS to calm down now and I can settle into a routine of training for my next long race that is 2 months from today. I have 3 5ks in the next 22 days so at least I know I have some work-outs on the calendar!

Now, you know why I haven't been around.
We took DMIL to the airport this morning and I am looking forward to meeting Howard at the gym tonight.

Megan - Thank you! I need all the :wizard: I can get. I'm :scared: of surgery.

Oh and please please please let's identify our Daves! :rotfl: I started reading that as if it was written to MSDave and I was thinking his "new friend" had everything she needs! :rotfl2:

I'm right there with you on the surgery. I'd rather a hockey puck to the head then surgery. (And I've had both!) So you have all my pixie dust wishes and hugs.

:rotfl: I should have made that a little clearer. Although MSDave's "new friend" might have had everything she needs too. I'm in no way going to attempt to make that decision.

Cam-Sounds like things can only get less hectic for you, I hope.

Geetings team!

Sorry I haven't been up to date this week, life just seems to be getting away from me lately.

Monday - I did get a great workout in, I got up early and did 30 minutes on the bike trainer, my computer is front wheel, so I have no idea of my stats, but I did a solid 30 minutes so should have been 8-9 miles. Later in the morning I went to the gym and did a 3 miler on the TM, I took it easy getting back into the swing of things and did a 10:30 pace. It felt great! I then did some weights after my run

Tuesday - Rest day - was supposed to be today, but the little ones seemed to interfer - I guess that happens when you are a momma

Today - 1 mile in the pool - swimming is my strong race, so I was surpized that this was where I lost most of my fitness. I stuggled more than I thought I would. So I made a few adjustments to the plan to get more swimming in until I am back up to par.

I tried to check all the other posts, but housework is calling my name. I will catch up with everyone when the toilets are clean!

Hope everyone is having a great day!

- Mary Kathryn

:moped: I will try to catch up with you guys tomorrow.

I did 3 miles on the track in under 36 mins. tonight after Zack's gym class.
And my booty is sure sore from that "Boy Short Bottom" part of my toning DVDs!
I am trying to adjust to Chad not being here after 2pm, and me being solely responsible for Zack. It sounds terrible, but this is going to take alot of getting used to! I have no idea how single moms do this. :worship:

Oh, I also had my right knee xrayed today. That whole your-tibal-spine-looks-funky thing. So, we'll see about that. And I have to schedule the neurologist now for that weird we-have-no-idea-what-it-is leg warmth thing. It had gone away fro awhile, but now is happening alot again. I think I am the queen of weird medical issues!

Gotta run to the grocery store....

I was feeling really tired on my way home today and wasn't sure if I would get some XT in today or not. The good news is, I got home, put on my workout gear, and did some Jiggle Free Arms (upper body weights), then a few minutes of abs. And the best thing is I feel so energized now! Now time to go put a load of laundry in and make dinner before this feeling goes away!

Hi All,

Sunday I did my LR of 5 miles in 1:03:51 for a 12:45mpm pace. Splits were:
Mile 1 – 13:44 (includes 5 min warm-up)
Mile 2 – 12:56
Mile 3 – 12:50
Mile 4 – 12:33
Mile 5 – 11:44
I did a R2/W3 & was very happy with my negative splits.:cool1: Felt good the entire time.
Monday I walked 3.78 miles on the boardwalk with friends. Tuesday was a rest day, and tonight went to the gym and did 35 min on the recumbent bike then did some weight machines & lots of stretching.

I have been having some issues with my right hip hurting on & off. Saturday it was bothering me. Sunday I did my LR without any pain. By Sunday afternoon it was hurting again and by Sunday night it was killing me. Sitting was worse. Did some searching on the web & found a bunch of stretches. I have been doing the stretches a few times a day & they seem to be helping, so for now I will continue to do the stretches & try to do more XT & see what happens.

Kristi – I’ll keep an eye out for the NYC American Inventor. Maybe I should just set Tivo up to start recording the show now so I don’t end up missing Molly.
Vic – Glad your off the injured roster. Hope the new shoes are working well for you. You had a nice upper body workout. Oh, and I’m with everyone else and really appreciate any connections you have with the weather gods for a cooler January 2008.
Terri – pixiedust: that your sprained ankle & Achilles both continue to heal.
tiberius – Congratulations on 9.5 miles in the heat.:thumbsup2
Mel – Congratulations on your Zen run! :woohoo: What a GREAT feeling when everything just comes together like that.
Christa – WOW….I’m tired just reading about your weekend. That was great that your DD’s had some place dry to play while you got your run in, in the rain.
MSDave – Glad DW is starting to come around to the marathon. Love all the photos of Rio, what a beautiful place. Your story of the “lady” asking the time had me :lmao:
WWDave & Erica – Great job on your walks!:thumbsup2
Kathy – Great job on your 2 week of training. It is really great that you ride along with Lynne when she’s doing her LR.
Shan – Way to go getting in runs while you were on your cruise.
Monica – Nice job volunteering at the half marathon since you weren’t able to run it. Hope the bike ride went well. Those free lectures sound pretty cool.
Jen – Hope you are having fun at the quilting convention.
Craig & Martha – Welcome back! Glad you all had a great time in Italy.
Andrew – Your training is going great. Enjoy your couple of days off of work.
Colleen – Good luck getting your training in over the summer.
TriMom – Glad you were able to revise your training plan to something that will work for you.
Kelley – Glad to here DH is recovering from his accident.
Heather – Great job on starting your Goofy training.
Leana – Sorry the beerfest wasn’t what you expected. Also, sorry you didn’t end up getting to meet up with your old friend.
Kim – Great job on getting in 2 walks in 1 day. I always seem to be slower on the TM too. I think being outside motivates me to move a little faster.
Sara – Good luck on the marathon this weekend!
Judy – Congratulations to Charlie on becoming certified as a Rescue Diver! :woohoo: Glad your pains are feeling better. I have been having pain in my hip too. I did a bunch of searching on the web and came up with the same thing Dr. Carrie had said to you. :thumbsup2 I have been doing a bunch of stretches since Sunday night that I found on-line. So far they seem to be really helping. Hope things went well today with the podiatrist.
Krista – :woohoo: on the pain free run. Good job getting in the lifting. Strength training is something I really need to work on. You are inspiring me to start working on that. :thumbsup2
Stacey – Nice job on the speed work
Renee – Way to go on the 6.8mile run. Nice pace.
NEBill – Great job getting your walks in. Congratulations on the weight loss.:yay:
Dona – Glad to hear you got good results on your PET Scan. Good for you for getting in some long bike rides while on vacation.
marathonmommy – Hope the new shoes are working out for you. And like everyone else has been saying….don’t worry about what anyone else thinks.
Kelly – Congratulations on getting back into running. Welcome back to the WISH Team!
Dana – Nice job on the pace trying to beat the rain. Enjoy the new Tahoe :drive: & getting back out to the rail trail.
Meghan – Great job on the 5 miler.
Carrie – I think talking to the owner of the local running store definitely counts as XT. Hope your body is getting used to the orthodics & lifts. I think I am dealing with piriformis too. I did some web searching & that is what I came up with. Thanks for telling Judy about. It confirmed what I had found on the web. :thanks:
Denny – Congratulations on the big move. Hope the timing of the move works out for you to still be at WDW for TOT.
Nancy – Good job getting in the pump/stretch classes & the walks in on the same day.
Kevin – Sorry you didn’t get in for NYC this year. pixiedust: for you for next year.
Megan – Hope you are feeling better. Congratulations on dropping a shirt size & a notch on your belt.:thumbsup2
Laurie – Great job on the speedwork. The best of luck with your goals for the summer.
Lily – The bike ride with DH definitely counts!:yay:
FLBill – Glad the rain finally stopped for you to get in a run.:sunny:
Stephanie – You are an inspiration the way you never seem to miss a workout. Hope you & your DS had fun shopping for Father’s Day gifts.
TnTsParty – Welcome Back! Good job getting back out there.
Angie
– Glad the blister is almost better. Hope the TM workout went well.
Cam – Wow….I’m tired just reading your post. I think you are Superwoman! :worship: Very scary, Andrew falling down the steps. Hope his cuts & bruises heal up quickly. Glad his injuries weren’t more serious. Enjoy your time at the gym tonight.

Sorry if I missed anyone.

Training:
Today’s requirement (after 5 minute warm-up at 4.0 mph --> .33 miles) ws to be walk 3/run 1 for 40 more minutes, which I also did twice last week:

Last Monday -- w3 (4.0)/r1(5.2) for 40 minutes -->2.87 miles (pace 13:56)
Last Thursday: w3(4.2)/r1(5.0) for 40 minutes -->2.94 miles (pace 13:36)
Today: w3 (4.2)/r1 (5.5) for 35 minutes and then w1/r1 --> 3.1 miles in 40:28 (pace 13:03)

So anyway...today was quite a unrestful day off...First I took my DD to her Day Camp, then went home, changed into some running clothes to go for a run on a trail that goes along the Mississippi river downtown. Do my 40 min of R3/W2 and its really hot....absolutely no shade (although not Africa Hot). Thankfully I thought ahead enough to grab a towel for the leather seats in the Durango (why oh why did we buy one with leather seats, oh yeah DW like it better). Stopped at a convenience store on the way home for a liquid refreshement (not beer :sad2: , that would have been swell). Then after my second shower of the day, threw on more clothes and mowed the lawn, picked up my DD from Day Camp, brought her home, then turned around and ran some errands - bumped into my brother (he lives 3 hrs away and is in town - just found that out) at the store, yeah by the way Mom is having an impromptu cookout at her house. Cleaned the pool, changed the filter, shocked it and changed a third time. Headed over to Mom's house - ate dinner with said brother, my other brother (neither of them are named Darrell), Mom and Grandma. Now I just got home and am exhausted as heck. WHEW! And to top it off, my other day off - tomorrow is not looking to relaxing either.
So, how was your day....

Cam - Good to hear from you, hope your DS leg heals with minimal or no scarring. Great job on keeping up with the training!
NEPatsFan - Congrats on the weight loss! That's gotta be a great motivator to keep up the great work!
Denny - Best of luck with the move and hope it goes through all nice and smooth. Moving is major XT!
Megan - WTG on the clothes getting a little looser. That's another perk about losing weight, new clothes! Keep up the great work! Sorry about the student loan Headache! At leasts it's not from a hockey puck to the head, that sounds painful.
marathonmommy - It's kind of odd that an "elitist" would bash walking any part of a marathon....I mean, Jeff Galloway has certainly earned the right to be considered an elite runner, and he's the one who pioneered the concept of taking walking breaks. Don't let others burst your bubble - only you can beat you. You rock just for getting out there to make a difference in your own life!:thumbsup2
WWDave and Erica - Good job on the six miles....I don't mean to sound ignorant (just "not right") what is LSD?
Leana - Good job on the 5 miler! I hope your ankle turns out okay.
Bill - Yep, I blinked and there goes today....need to get some lid retractors, like on "Clockwork Orange". Good job with the 5 mile dry swim.
Judy - If you opt to have the bunion surgery, I hope all goes well.
Krista - Wow....a hill routine on the bike, then lower body weight work...man my legs ache just reading that. :thumbsup2
Mary Kathryn - Great job on the training. There is a local Tri-Club, I will have to check them out (maybe after my marathon in Sept) and see if they have any training tips for an absolute Tri-Newbie. The triathlon this weekend is a Sprint Distance, maybe in 2008, we'll see. Thanks for the encouragement!
Kristi - Good job on the track work and the toning!
Karen - Strong Work on the LR. I hope those stretches help your hip issues.

Happy Training!:yay:

I have a good friend who ran X-C in College, and many years ago we would go out for a run together about 1 or 2 times a year. We would start out shoulder to shoulder at a comfortable pace and without being aware of it the friendly competition would cause the pace to quicken just a bit, and just a bit more, and more, and so on, until after a couple miles we were both running nearly flat out. I most clearly remember one such run along the shore of Lake Tahoe, where the 2 of us, running at 6200 feet of elevation, were pushing each other like lunatics at a pace we couldn't possibly sustain, but we somehow did.

Reading about the little victories of the gang motivates me to compete with you and earn my own little victories. This competition is like the one I had with my buddy Alex, it's fun, the type you share a beer over after the run.

As I've stated previously, I think my error in training for the 2007 marathon, and a big mistake it was, was not training with enough intensity to prepare my body for race day. I did plenty of long runs, but the long runs weren't nearly hard enough to train my body to sustain the pace I tried to carry in the race. Not surprisingly when I asked my body for something it hadn't trained for it did fine for a while, but at the teacups it had enough and broke down. The heat sure didn't help (and thanks Vic for taking care of that in 2008 pirate: ), but I was foolish to ask for something I hadn't prepared for.

So today I put my plan into action, and had 2 things happen to me which I hadn't seen in too many years. I hit the track for 5 miles; easy, hard, easy, hard, easy, and the first thing was I ran hard enough to feel the lactic acid building up in my legs. Yes I felt the fatigue in my quads, but it was the I'm working hard good kind. I honestly cannot remember the last time I had this happen, but since I vow to work harder this year it needs to happen a lot.

And the second thing really hasn't occurred in years. Mile 1 = 9:33, Mile 2 = 8:04, Mile 3 = 9:32, Mile 4 = 7:55 :scared1: , and Mile 5 with legs full of debris = 9:22. I cannot remember the last time I went sub-8 for a mile. After the first hard mile I thought I had blown it all out and the second hard mile would be harder and much slower, but it wasn't. I concentrated early to hold the 2 minutes per lap pace, and the last lap although physically difficult was mentally quite easy.

As so many of us have commented, when you are able to train it is amazing what your body will deliver.

So keep the news of positive results coming. When I'm out there training I think of what you guys have accomplished and it motivates me to push the distance and/or the pace in the friendly competition.

Craig

Hey all, just a quick post to keep me honest. Got around 3 miles done today--speedwork day, 4x800 at 8mph with a 2 min. warmup at 6.0 and 2 min. recovery between the 800's. Well, it's off to bed I go. "See" ya'll tomorrow!

Andrew, LSD stands for Long Slow Distance. Most longer than normal walks or runs at a slower speed are called LSD workouts.

Dave:hippie: "YARC"

Do you know how long it takes to catch up on a week's worth of posts? I won't even try to respond to everyone!

Judy - We were on your balcony at WL Sunday afternoon watching a horrendous thunderstorm!

MSDave - Reading the saga of you and DW has kept me up past midnight. Glad it appears to be headed toward a happy ending. Love the pictures of Rio!

Kristi - Congrats to Chad on the job!

Helen - Welcome back! I'll keep my fingers crossed that we hear you squeal in July.

We got back tonight from a week at WDW. I had the requisite Mickey bar:mickeybar, Dole Whip (would have had two of those, but the not-so-bright CM screwed up the order and gave me vanilla instead even after I asked him "you're sure that's pineapple?") and way too much other food. DH and I ran 4 miles Thursday morning, and I have a whole new respect for you Florida runners. It's hot and humid in NC, but 6:00am there felt like 6:00pm here. And after the second day, my feet and legs were so tired from being in the parks all day, I couldn't drag myself out of bed to run again. I do have tomorrow off before I go back to work, so I'm hoping I can do some miles before my 10 mile LR on Saturday!

I HAVE to go to bed!

Jackie

Good Morning TEAM: :surfweb:

I apologize for not responding to everyone. I'll have to do a real post and catch up when I get back from Rio. I've been reading everyone's posts, and then only have time left to post my pictures. I hope no one's offended. I promise I'll be less self-centered when I get back.

My day yesterday was pretty much sitting in the meeting all day. I did have a break over lunch from 12-2pm where I squeezed in a run. I ran 8 miles all the way down Copacabana Beach, all the way down Ipanema Beach, and started up a hill past Ipanema Beach. I figured it was my way to do some sightseeing while I got some exercise. It was sooooooo hot though - running at high noon here is not recommended. It's winter here, and I can't imagine what summer temps are like. It was between 80-85 degrees, full sun, and humid - Disney Marathon weather again. I forced myself to drink lots of water and stop every mile. I told myself I would stop every mile to walk, drink water and to take pictures for you all. So here you go...

Mile 1: I just crossed over to Ipanema Beach, and you can see a mountain off in the distance called Dois Iramos (Two Brothers).
DSC00685.jpg

Mile 2: You can see Two Brothers getting closer.
DSC00687.jpg

Mile 3: I'm now right underneath Two Brothers.
DSC00690.jpg

Mile 4: I'm no longer in a tourest area, and it's not looking very friendly or comfortable. I don't like Two Brothers, stay away from Two Brothers, start running faster. It's time for me to turn around and head back.
DSC00694.jpg

DSC00691.jpg

In all fairness, my hiking guide from the other day told me that Two Brothers is not in a nice area, and there are two rival drug gangs fighting for territory there. I was really surprised though to see the area switch from tourist to slum so quickly.

Mile 5: I'm back at Ipanema Beach. Here's the cobblestone path along the beach. It's a different pattern than the beach in front of my hotel, Copacabana Beach.
DSC00695.jpg

Mile 6: Two Brothers is now way behind me. I stop to buy more water from one of the street vendors. It feels very hot.
DSC00699.jpg

Mile 7: Was really cool, there was a point off Ipanema Beach where you could climb up on the rocks and look around. There were people trying to surf in this part of the ocean, but the waves were not that big.
DSC00700.jpg

This was a catcus growing on the island, and it was getting ready to bloom.
DSC00703.jpg

Mile 8: Back in front of my hotel on Copacabana Beach. I decide to sit on the beach for a little while before going in to take a shower to go back to the meeting. I got a coconut to drink. They have fresh coconut, cut the top off with a knife, and stick a straw in it. It was yummy...
DSC00705.jpg

I did finally stick my toes in the water of the ocean. It was COLD!!!!! I was surprised. I waded in up to my ankles, and it cooled me off pretty fast. It was cold, cold water...

Oh for those of you that question whether I'm "working" down here. I have to present my talk this morning at the conference. Today, I'll probably be sitting in the conference room literally all day. Yesterday, I was sitting there listening to presentations from 8:30am-12:30p and then from 3:00p-7:00p. Today I probably won't even get the break in between sessions because one of the symposium organizers has asked to meet for lunch to talk about my data. Oh well, I guess that's what I'm here for.

Karen & Everyone – Molly will be on the American Inventor tv show when they do the NYC audtions. Which, according to last night’s show, is next week! I was debating not telling you guys, since I am 99% sure the whole gang is going to be on camera – and I am quite embarrassed about being on national tv myself.

Karen – hop that hip is feeling better today! :wizard:

Cam – I am tired ready your post! :faint:

Andrew – also exhausted after reading your busy day! :faint:

Craig
– great job! Esp. on the sub-8! :woohoo:

SWDave – I am happy with just the pics – keep ‘em coming! Oh, yeah – and keep the women of the evening stories coming too! There’s a Brazillian restaurant in Manchester, NH that we have been to. They serve the meat on skewers just like in your pic – YUM!

Krista – I would not be Heather’s unexpected house guest – she invited me, silly! ;)

Judy – how did your podiatrist visit go? :wizard:

Mary Kathryn – great job on the workouts!

Leana – great job doing Jiggle Free Arms. I certainly need some ‘jiggle free arms!’ :lmao:

I hope I didn’t miss anyone!

I was bound & determined to workout again today, but I am just beat. I went to bed after 10pm and got up at 2:45am. I am doing ok now thanks to a a lot of diet coke :hyper: & very bad (but oh so good) 3 musketeer bar.

MSW Dave

Thanks for the pics. I am completely envious of you. What a great place and view for a late fall run. The scenery is fantastic.
