"There's a great big beautiful tommorrow..."
YAY I got a Cortisone Cocktail!
Good-bye Sinus Tarsi!
I feel human again!
It's a new day.
The shot the doctor gave me at the hospital was not the same stuff he usually gives me, and it did nothing. Yesterday he gave me the usually shot - although I think he did it with a lance that went completely thru my ankle - but the pain is GONE GONE GONE!
He unwrapped my foot yesterday and I saw it for the first time. I have about a three inch incision and many stitches. All my toes look like black and blue sausages. I took a picture if anyone wants to see it.
I have to go back on the 30th to get the stitches out, and hopefully be done with this surgical shoe. And then we will make a decision about training again. I CAN NOT WAIT! I am coming back with a vengeance!!
You know what's sad...six months from today we will be coming home from our marathon trip.
Totally OT: We had FOUR - FOUR - bucks in our back yard this morning.
One eight point that was a big as an elk! he was awesome looking! one ten-point and two four pointers. I have never seen four bucks together. I thought they were loners. It looked like two grandfathers with their grandsons, out for a graze in our backyard. It was so incredibly cool!
lourodrigis - Welcome!
This group is an amazing source of support, education and entertainment!
Leana - Great pictures!
But yeah, what's up with the water station pic?
Kristi - Is that like a "Baby Swap?" Everytime I see a post about Baby Swapping I think "Gee, I guess the parents didn't like the one they got."
What? Was I tempting you? The thought never crossed my mind....
WWDave - I tried acupuncture for my tinnitus. Although it was interesting to do, it did nothing to help me. The accupuncturist did say at the start that if after four treatments we saw no improvement, he probably couldn't help me.
Thanks Dave.
I can't believe I gained four and a half pounds last week! Thankfully, these past few days I have been diligent and they are gone. Now, if I can just get rid of a few dozen more.
No. No! This can't be it.
Oh please. No.
Lilly - Wow, thats fabulous!
YAY for both you and DH!
Jen - I'm with Kristi on this one... "arrests"??
When I start getting annoyed and bored with the TM - like sometimes I do in the dead of winter - I remember times...gee, like this - when I can't get on it at all!
Then I'm grateful I can even BE on the TM. Plus, I look at my time on the TM like this: It could be worse. I could be at work.

Judy, since you can't train right now, a gentle reminder from your "YARC" team subjects. "Keep your kiester out of the Fridge, no kitchen sinks till your back".
Thanks Dave.

Guys I'm afraid our dear friend Mouse SkyWalker may have had to make a very difficult decission
