Wk of April 13 - WISH Walking/Running Club

PungoAngie - I get really cold if I am dehydrated. SOUnds weird, but it's true.

Kristi - Great pix!!!

Anne - :grouphug: BTW, what a treat talking to you Friday! SO glad I feared insulting you! I'll have to do it more often! :rotfl:

TXAng - There will eb so many WISHers in San ANotnio, that I think it will be the next best thing to a WDW race. We're not signed up yet, but ar egoing to do our darndest to get down there.

Vic - AKA Mr. Racing, what were you doing watching teh TIggers? Nice TV.

Martha - Scott has no interest in going HD. DOes that help? ;)

Stacie - :grouphug: Hope this is a better week for you!

Stephaine -WTG on not only getting yourself to the gym, but Scott too!

To all those who usually lurk - Thanks for posting! It's great hearing more about you. EVen if you can't keep up with everyone yet, the ore you get to know everyone and we get to know you, teh better it will be when we all meet. Trust me. :grouphug:

OK, I'm still missing alot. FOrgive me. I'm working on about 2 brain cells today adn trying to save those for a presentation tonight. yeah, that should be interesting. :guilty:
So glld to see everyone posting here! I think you'l

Question...why am I always so cold after a run?

Angie, this is a multi cause problem usually.

1. Your internal temperature has risen and when you stop running if it is cooler outside than your internal temperature, you get chilled. (kind of like leaving the hot tub to outside temps).
2. Electrolyte imbalance and/or dehydration. You need to drink after your run/walk but you also need your electrolytes. Another tip is don't drink ice cold water. Gives me a belly ache but also contributes to the chilly willys!!;)

Greetings race team -

I did six miles yesterday...

1) 14:10
2) 12:29
3) 11:44
4) 13:10
5) 14:58
6) 11:59

13:05 Average

Well, it will keep me ahead of the Minnie sweepers, I guess.

You know the thing I love about this sport? There are always new things you can learn. For instance, here is what I learned yesterday....When you are sitting in a bathtub, adding ice....don't reach over the side of the tub with a wet hand and grab a handful of ice cubes out of the bowl. Yeah, that REALLY hurts since they are STICK to your HAND! OUCH! Grrrrrrrrrrrr.

John - You guys are coming to the Minnie!?!?!?! I thought you weren't coming! Oh this is fabulous! :yay: Yay!

Kristi
- OMG how adorable! You go Zack! :woohoo:

"Meetings R Us" today. New boss lady coming to town. All the Ol' Boys are not liking this GirlPower. I love it! :lmao: Ha ha ha!

Cleveland area WISHers, Welcome to the WISH Team! It is great to have you.
Thanks for the welcome. It's always good to see other Clevelanders on the boards.

We're also seriously considering the Rock N Roll Half Marathon in San Antonio this November. I really wanted my first Half to be a Disney race, but we're not sure when we're going to get back to Disney, so I think this one would be fun. Plus it's local-ish, which might be better for us to see what we'll feel like after a long-distance race.

I did the Country Music half in 2006 which is organized by Elite Racing. They are the same company doing the San Antonio race and I highly recommend any race they do. They actually rival Disney Sports when it comes to organization and presentation of their races. I doubt you will be disappointed.

Morgan: Congratulations on the 5K. It looks like you are all ready for the Old Oak Run on Saturday. I did a run at the fairgrounds this weekend and part of the course over laps the one for Old Oak. It was really fast (I did my 3rd best time ever) so you should be all ready for your first race.

Hi team - I had a pretty busy and active weekend!

Saturday I went out and got 9.3 mi in over 1:45:37 (11:21/mi).
Sunday morning I went for my boot camp fitness assessment. Part of it involved step ups at a consistent pace for 5 min so my heart rate could be monitored. That was a workout for the legs! In the afternoon I went for a 16.3 mi bike ride. I rode out from my house and my neighborhood just happens to be at the top of a BIG hill. Coming home was an awesome challenge for my legs! It was a 361 ft climb over 3 miles.

This week is going to be busy - here's the plan:
Monday - 3 mi over lunch, plus my last Fit Ball session!
Tuesday - babysitting my gorgeous niece, hopefully biking to work
Wednesday - 5 mi
Thursday - travelling to Vancouver!
Friday - 3 or 4 mi
Sunday - Vancouver Sun Run 10K

The Sun Run is Canada' largest 10K, and the 2nd largest in North America. So far a record 54,320 people have signed up with more to come. The last time I ran this race (two years ago) the winner had crossed the finish line before I had even hit the start line.

Allyson: Good luck on moving up the mileage. You can do it! :cheer2: There used to be a list around here of everyone's screennames/real names....I wonder what happened to it?

Tracy: Good job on the LW! LOL "just chillin" eh?

laxdef69: You aren't slow either! Under 10 mpm is a good clip. Hopefully that swim was in an indoor pool--brrrr!

Jackie: Good job gettin the steps in!

Jen: You are the TM superhero! I don't know how you do it.

Jeff: How lazy can you get not going for the half?! ;) JK! :thumbsup2 on getting in some bonus miles. Great sticker! LOL I can picture that tennis cardio workout! :scared1:

Carol: Yay for new toy motivation! :cool2:

Christa: Ewwwww yall have a LOT of pollen! :grouphug: for you and your mom.

Scott: Do you do triathlons? If you don't you should! Hope you enjoyed the ...uhh...enthralling golf.

Stephanie: Ooo Zumba looks fun! I went out to the tennis courts last week to play with a friend. I don't actually know how to play, but that doesn't mean I can't try right? Luckily, no one else was in our fenced area b/c we spent half the time chasing after balls! I discovered the court is a lot bigger than those superstar players make it look on tv!

Lily: Yikes! As if Mondays aren't bad enough already?! Yay on getting housework cleared and done.

Amy: :wizard: that you get to feeling better.

Kristi: Nice had Zack's got there! :thumbsup2

Stacie: :cheer2: You can do it girl! :cheer2:

Carrie: "TM nirvana" indeed! LOL definitely an oxymoron! :thumbsup2 on getting it in though.

PungoAngie: I think it has to do with using all your energy and therefore fuel supplies during the run. I've noticed that consistently after a long run (and after some med intense runs) I will get cold. Make sure that you are hydrated and that you are getting adequate nutrition pre-, during, and post- run. That and keep a sweater around!

:surfweb:

I got in a really nice [tempo] 4 miler yesterday. Amazing what you can do when you need to hurry! I also got over to the gym for some strength training and a quick swim. I have a big psychology test this afternoon so after my 6 mile run [and perhaps a quick bike ride] this morning, I can't do anything this afternoon. I'm hoping I can get by the rockwall this evening, but we'll see. Monday's are the only day I have an early afternoon class in addition to my regular evening classes, so I always feel a bit cramped. And yikes! I have a 25 page literature review to write for Wednesday (rough draft anyway), so I will be cross eyed by the end of the week! Off for that run!

Happy steps for all! :goodvibes

Scott I should get you together with my DH. His weekend isn't complete unless he does 40-50 miles on the bike on Saturday and then a "light ride" of 20-30 more on Sunday! Oh, and he keeps telling me about his weekday 5k on the TM at work--last one was 19:36 (with stops!)

Carrie Ah yes, "treadmill nirvana". I actually don't mind the TM, but 3 miles is about my limit. And the weirdest thing happened to me on Saturday. I realized I'd rather run 3 miles on the TM than do 30 min on the elliptical!

Stacie Repeat after me........"I will do fine at the Minnie, I will do great at the Minnie". Seriously, all of us with no race experience are getting the jitters (and those of us with nagging injuries even moreso). But----and I even say this as one of those people who are pragmatic versus optimistic--I truly believe things will work out. And if they don't--well at least I'm at WDW!

Maura

Oh bother. I forgot soemoen and I forgot who it was. :guilty:

To teh person who did teir first 5k this week: First of all, forgive me for forgettign to address you adn forgetting your name. It's a rough morning. Secondly, don't ever feel like your victory is not a victory for all of us! We al started from nothing at one point in time. Every step that you take is a victory! SO glad you did it and good luck on your 5K race!!! :goodvibes BTW, I look forward to hearing you talk about "only" doing a 5K. It is an awesome feeling of accomplishement when our previous goals turn into no big deal. DOn't let that diminesh what huge accomplishements they are now, though. Congratulaitons!

Kristi--You didn't tell us Zach was an elite runner. #1 bib -- impressive. (I did notice the other child with the same number. They must have been in different events, huh?)

Zach - WTG!! :thumbsup2

Hello all!

Sorry fell so far behind last week. Things got crazy end of the week and into the weekend.

I'm not as brave as Mike so didn't go outside to walk in the 45 wind/rain/snow mess this weekend. Yep, I'm a wimp. ;) Got in 3 miles on the TM and Sunday had massive housework to take care of. When I do big time whole house cleaning I don't feel so bad about not getting out.

Bought a new road bike on Saturday and weather this week looking like good to get it out! Tonight is a 4 mile walk - looking to increase speed tonight then extend mileage during the week. I've gone 6 miles so think I'll be ok at the Minnie so long as I can avoid the sweepers!

Have a great day!

Hello everyone!

Liz
- new road bike, yay!! hope the weather holds up and you can get out there on it this week :)

Maura - 80 miles is ccrraazzyy! And a sub 20 5k each week to top it off? wow!

Claire - Nope, no triathlons. Running...check, cycling...check, swimming...um...anyone give lessons around here? BTW, you are a busy person! Biking, strength training, swimming, running AND the lit review...wow!

Leana - awesome run and awesome ride! Looks like it was a great weekend for you. Good luck with your training this week leading up to the Sun Run on Sunday, I KNOW you'll do just great!

Firedancer
- I second the comments about the Elite series racing. I'm a fan of Disney, but I think Elite puts on the best overall package. I recommend any of their races!

Judy - Yikes with the ice!! Thank goodness it wasn't your tongue (a la "A Christmas Story")

Carrie
- I'm all for a WISH meet on the Comet!! I might even be nice and provide coffee and donuts :goodvibes: Sorry to hear about the rain on Saturday, but TM Nirvana sure does sound like a happy place!

Stacie - If you can do 5, you can definitely do 7 and you'll have no troubles with 9.3! Remember that it's a mental game. You CAN do this and you'll be just fine.

Kristi - Nice pics and congrats to Zack!!

Stephanie
- nice work getting the run in right after tennis! Glad to see you got a little break with some extra sleep...you guys doing any races this summer?

Craig, Martha & Tracy - thank you for the kind words.

Amy
- You are out there doing 10 as I type this, so I certainly hope things are going well for you!! Glad the sick spell has passed and I wish you the best this week with your classes and your training. You never cease to amaze me with everything you can accomplish in a day :goodvibes:

Scott's World
- Rest day today so I splurged and slowly ate (read: inhaled) what I consider to be the second best cookie that can be consumed...the White Chocolate Chip Macadamia Nut cookie at Subway. Pure....cookie....heaven.

I'm stoked that the Minnie is soo close now!! I'm really looking forward to a few days in WDW...and I'm super excited to be running next to Amy in both events. To me, no time posted can beat the reward of sharing the race experience with her. I look forward to the chance of saying hello to some of you as well. What a great group of folks we have here on the WiSH team :goodvibes:

Hope everyone has a great day!

:cool1: :cool1: :cool1: Great Job Zack !!! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Judy - Karen & I will be there. If our new Grandson decides to come early we will be doing the races in record time so we can rush back to NJ. :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay:

Later,
John

Hi Team:

Leana: Early best wishes for a great race! I bet you have an awesome race, your training and XT have been outstanding!!! Great past few days of workouts. I'm really impressed!!! :goodvibes

Liz: :cool1: For the road bike!!! Go bunnies ;).

Carrie: YES...let's do a Comet long run weekend in Georgia in the fall! I'm all for getting OUT of the cold and down south for a weekend! Besides...Scott already promised donuts and coffee...and I just got him to agree to creating little water stops along the trail! Thanks buddy! :thumbsup2

John: :goodvibes A new baby? HOW EXCITING :).

Kristi: YAY ZACH! Tell him congratulations. How cute!!! :lovestruc

Stacie: Girl...you are going to GREAT at the Minnie. I cannot wait to give you a big old hug when you finish!!!

Claire: :worship: GREAT workouts in the past few days. Seems like you're already in Goofy training!!!! :thumbsup2

Scott: Coffee and Donuts? Will you organize the meet? Can we have a big party after the LR? LOL. Sorry...but I've been wanting to run the comet now for some time so that would be cool! Official WiSH training run! Anyway...enjoy your rest day...you most definitely deserve it!!!

Soooo for me...:sad2: . I've officially decided to lower my expectations for the 15K. I'm having lots of training related aches and pains. Went out and did my 10 Miles today and it was another ROUGH run. My pace wasn't too bad considering I set out to run comfortably and just get the steps in (finished 10:08 mpm). BUT...my goodness...my legs hurt and ached so badly when I finished that I nearly started crying just trying to sit down in my car to drive home. I have this chronic pain now in the top/side of the inside of my left food...no clue what that is all about :confused3 . Even my back ached. So another whining post from me :rolleyes1 . Other than that I taught pilates this morning and have yet another class to teach tonight. But before then it's off to the ice bath for me. Ugh. :scared1: I'm now just hoping to finish the Minnie 15K in a respectable time for me, and hopefully just really enjoy the experience...maybe pulling a mid 9 mpm average. OK...sorry to rant about my crummy long runs. I think the most frustrating thing is that I've had more bad LRs during Minnie training than I did my entire 20 weeks of Goofy training. Very odd?!?!

I think the most frustrating thing is that I've had more bad LRs during Minnie training than I did my entire 20 weeks of Goofy training. Very odd?!?!
:grouphug: Last year, I thought trianign fro teh Minie would eb a piece of cake. Sadly, my body did not agree. I know how frustrating that is. Seriously, give your body some time off before teh race and I bet that pace in teh 9s will happen. If not, you can hang back and run with me. :)

Woo hoo for the 20-miler party of the Silver Comet trail! Have doughnuts, and a snow and ice free trail and we travel!

Mel: WTG with your 8 miler & a PR! I'm glad to hear you've had some comfortable LRs--you deserve them. And good news about your Mom moving around, too. How was the Disney day trip.

Morgan: 5K IS a big deal--you're challenging yourself, and every race is a challenge and a reminder of just how dedicated you are. Remember, we all want to hear about your event!

Anne: It's cool to know I'm not the only mushy one here. Also cool that you're consistently getting in your XT! :thumbsup2

Lily: I so wish you were going to be around for the Cleveland marathon so I could meet you. We just got our hotel room, and I'm getting excited. Thanks for keeping up the list, btw, as I like knowing who's going where--especially as I so often don't!

Stephanie: Yea for Steve & a 6 miler on the TM, and bigger yea for you--not only for Zumba but for tennis in the unseasonable AR cold followed by running. Your whole family sounds athletic!

TXAng: I hope you choose the perfect 5K(s) for you. Does this means you won't be at the Disney marathon weekend? :sad1: On the upside, I hear good things about the San Antonio RnR event.

Aloha Jeff: I hope you had fun with the clinic. They're lucky to have you. And WTG on your "not-a-half because I didn't feel like it" extended run.

John: Hope your 8 miler went well!

Terri: That Pike's Peak guy was seriously Goofy! Speaking of serious, those are some great goals. Good luck with them & with your new position.

Cecilia: Once again, you (and Anne) are one of our voices of wisdom, helping keep everything in perspective! :) I can't imagine you not being a marathoner--I kind of assumed you were born that way.

Allyson: :woohoo: for moving on to W4. You're absolutely ready to do it, to challenge yourself, and the spring weather is just further encouragement.

Claire: I see a certain logic in starting with the RW before moving to the R; it might help me improve my time. I worry that I'll get in the RW comfort zone (where I am already) and not move to the straight run later on. Eh, but what fun is it if I don't experiment? How'd your date go (wink, wink)? You know, that innuendo doesn't really work when we're talking about running. And wow, with your schedule! Between your physical WOs and your intellectual ones, you're always busy.

Tracy: Great job with your 8 miler--you're gonna have such fun at the Minnie. What's your goal pace, if you have one? And I second your nomination of Scott as the official photographer! Those of us who aren't going want to see the event documented for posterity!

Maura: Evil, evil taxes, preventing you from enjoying the weekend. At least the weather seems to have cooperated with your need to be indoors. About the Minnie. I, too, am a pragmatist about things, so your bottom line--at least you'll be in WDW--is spot on!

Mike: Hey, hey, hey! Watch you say about the Tigers--remember, even kittens have claws! :cheer2:

Jackie:  for doing your miles, uphill and when you weren't feeling particularly motivated. Forget the time, forget the hills, you conquered your resistance!

Jen: Butt Kicker is earning its name. Glad you made the miles & didn't need to boot & rally. Pick up a little gas station snack for me too, huh?

CarolA: I'm glad you got to play with your Garmin for your 4-miler. Hey, whatever tempts you to get out there, right? Do I get to join the old & slow club...because I'm right with you in pace.

Christa: Wow on your bike ride--& in windy conditions. Thanks for the update about your mom...she sounds like a strong woman. And I'm sure she looks as hot as her wigs.

Vic: Just curious. How many Sunday runs in your future do you anticipate, what with the new HDTV tempting you? :lmao: After seeing your TV, I have screen envy.

Scott: That's some impressive mileage & pacing there. I think your biking is really benefitting your running. Or maybe it's that tv-watching schedule? That must be it--active rest. :rotfl: Maybe Vic should invite us all over to his place for a Sunday afternoon to test my training theory? And now I need to know: if Subway's White Chocolate Chip Macadamia Nut cookie is second best, what's first?

Martha: Um, in my household it was me who absolutely needed a new TV a couple of years ago to watch the Superbowl. Just the commercials, of course. But mostly for movies, movies, movies! I should have you as my voice of reason. But I live with DOOD, and my inner-guy taps into his outer-guy....

Amy: Oh, I hope you're feeling better now. You have had a string of aches, pains, bad runs, even though you've had some good ones in there too. You know what's best for you in terms of the race, and that's staying pain-free and avoiding injury. Plus, you and Scott are going to have a blast at the Minnie, regardless of the pace. And I truly believe all the work you've been doing will affect your pace in the long haul, maybe just not in time for the Minnie (although I'm still crossing my fingers for you). P.S. I know you made some changes after the Goofy, including PT I believe, so maybe that's affecting your runs?

Kristi: Oooh, how great. Look at Zack's stride & his smile, not to mention his lime green hat. (Is he our youngest WISHer participating in events on his own steam?) Life IS Good.

Stacie: Remember to stare in the face of 7 and 8 miles...and laugh. The distances can't you back--you're a WISHer and a pretty princess!

Carrie: What would TM nirvana feel like, if there were one? The sense that you could keep going those extra minutes, yes, that's good. Would it feel like you weren't really there at all? A Not-Being on the TM? Hmm...that makes sense, but doesn't seem to be all that different from most people's reactions to the TM, though. Nirvana certainly doesn't make a case for TM running, does it? :rotfl2: I stil

Angie: I agree with Carrie's statement about hydration. That's usually what my problem is if I'm cold. That said, Lisa's answer is super impressive & I learned something new. :thumbsup2

Jen: Thanks for the Eye to Eye information!

Judy: :yay: for being ahead of the sweepers. As for the ice cubes, have you ever tried putting your tongue on a cold lamppost? :rotfl:

FireDancer: Thanks for your assessment of Elite Racing; it's always good to have WISHers pointing out the good ones for us! :thumbsup2

Leana: What a busy fitness week you have coming up! It sounds like you enjoyed your boot camp fitness assessment--Wow! And the Sun Run 10K sounds overwhelming with all the participants. But also fun!

Liz: Wimps don't do 3 miles on the TM. You're just particular about your weather--join the club. But I never feel the need to do housework as a trade-off. Good luck with your speed work tonight.

As for me: My SR today ended up being 4 miles, which I was pretty happy about as that's now 4 miles I can run without a walk interval. I followed it with some biking, and I've noticed how much happier my knees are since I've been adding XT to my WOs, biking & otherwise. So thanks WISHmates for the team challenge, which is increasing my strength & endurance.

Tonight DOOD & I are attending an academic talk by Jean Howard, "Beatrice's Monkey: Staging Exotica on the Early Modern Stage" (his field, not mine). So I'll be working on another form of my endurance--listening to the long academic talk. Hopefully the talk will include pictures and a lively Q & A. If not, I might have a coughing fit & have to excuse myself. Regardless, I've been promised ice cream for going. :woohoo: That's right, treat me like a 5 yo and I'll be good.

Debra - Normally housework gets done around everything else but this was spring cleaning type. Took down all curtains, washed comforters, cleaned baseboards, etc. Started at 10am and finished at 5.30pm with only a 30 min break for lunch so was in no mood to do anything other than have dinner and watch TV. :rotfl:

Hope the talk isn't too boring and enjoy the ice cream! :thumbsup2

Scott – WOW! Your WOs ROCK! That is a wonderful pace for 10 miles. Last year while training for my century ride, I would run long (like 14 miles) on Fridays and do a 60, 70, 80, plus ride on Saturday. I was really amazed how easy the real century was with fresh legs. Oh, did I mention I was the “Drafting Queen” on the bike. The guys I ride with say I don’t help them while I am “pulling” so they just let me draft…

Vic – Love the TV…it is so fancy, can I even call it just a TV?

Stephanie – I would skip a LR to sleep in…but it looks like you made up for it. Don’t you just love hang’n with your sis. This is why I drag mine out on the trails to run. She now has a road bike…HaHaHa!

Lily – WTG on getting the house clean. Sorry that the weekend was not full of wonderful runs…but now you can get out there knowing you can return to a nice and tidy house…this is something I can’t do.

Amy – So sorry you were not feeling well. That was a smart move with the LR. I am sorry it was not a good run. I think it may have been you not feeling well the day b/4. I am sorry you hurt. Just go out and have fun at Minnie and not worry about pace. You will do great! I just know it. Thanks for praying for my mom.

Jeff – I HAVE THAT STICKER TOO! WTG on the TV! So nice.

Kristi - WTG Zach! He looks so cute in the WISH hat. That is a wonderful cause to run for. I have so many friends who go to the soup kitchen. I have met them when I take sandwiches and stuff.

Cruella – WOW on the speedy run! I understand feeling like you are going to fly off the dreadmill.

Stacie – Lots of PD for your running. Running is about 60% mental. Just go out there and have fun on that 7 miler.

Carrie – WTG on the dreadmill nirvana!

Angie – I have no answer for this..but I am always cold after my LR. It is hard for me to get warm again for the whole day.

Judy – WTG on the 6 miler…looks like a strong run.

FireDancer – WOW! You are speedy!

Leana – You had a great WO weekend. Looks like you have tons more this week. WTG on the LR. You are doing so great. PD for your 10K this weekend. Sounds fun.

Claire – You have a lot going on. WTG on your WOs and PD for that LP…(Long Paper).

Liz – You will LOVE the bike. I just know it. I love biking. I feel fast when riding (even though my ave pace is only around 16 MPH…and that is not fast.)

Debra – WTG on that 4 miler. GIRL! You get some hi miles in. So you have also added biking? WTG! Have fun with DOOD tonight!

As for me, I ran 5.6 with sis then 3 by myself on the dreadmill. I also noticed that the YMCA was having a running clinic for 1st time runners. I told the girl who was doing it that I would be happy to help. It trains people for a 4 mile race in Charlotte…sounds fun.

Terri – Good luck with your new position!

Allyson – Congrats on finishing W3! Hope your first day of W4 goes really well tomorrow!

Tracy – WTG on the 8.10 miles!

Jackie – Great job getting those miles in! Sorry the route was rougher than expected.

Jen – WTG on the 7.35 on the TM.

Aloha Jeff – Wow, 12.5 when you meant to do 8? I’m impressed!

Vic – Glad you had a good 3-miler.

Carol – Nice job on the 4-miler.

Christa – Glad to hear that your mom’s doing ok. Hope that she’ll keep getting better and that tumor will just disappear completely!

Scott – Great job on the 10-miler!

Kristi – Zack looks so cute with his WISH hat!

Cecilia – Nice job on the speed training!

Carrie – TM Nirvana? That’s funny. Great job on the 5-miler! Good luck on your presentation tonight.

Judy – Great job on the 6-miler! Too funny about the ice. Well, funny now…I’m sure it wasn’t at the time!

Leana
– That WAS a busy weekend! WTG! Good luck on your 10K next weekend.

Claire – WTG getting that 4-miler done! Hope your psych test goes well.

Amy – I’m sorry you’re having a rough time!

Debra – No marathon weekend for us for 2009, I’m afraid. It falls on the weekend of DS’s first birthday, and the grandparents would be none too pleased if we whisked the baby away to WDW! We’re going to try to make it for 2010, though! Have fun at the academic talk tonight...or at least behave enough so that you'll get to have your ice cream! :)

I decided to go back and restart the C25K, since I haven't been sticking to the plan at all. So, W1D1 today, did 2 miles in 31:10. Meh.

There are WISHers going to the SA RnR? How cool! That definitely makes it even more appealing. Does anyone know if it's likely to sell out? Should we sign up now, or do you think we've got a little more time? I'd hate to miss out!
