Wk of Apr 15--WISH Walking/Running Club

Cam - Lots of pixiedust: that you'll be better real soon! Like Krista, I agree that you should be fine for the Minnie; you've trained enough that this shouldn't be a major setback.

Susie - I agree with you about 5K's. I don't feel really warmed up until somewhere along the 3rd mile, but all I can find around here are 5K's. Not that I'm really ready for a 10K yet, but I'd like to try one...

Nancy - Good luck on the taper. I think we should buy stock in Kleenex, or Puffs, or maybe both! I don't even set foot on the TM without tissues.

Dave & Steve - You guys have fun, whatever you decide to do! And Krista, good luck!

Matt - Great pictures! You don't look like you're making any effort at all!

Judy/Kiena/Sunny - I can join the AI free group this season. I turned it on one night just to see who Sanjaya was, but I'm staying far, far away. The Clay Aiken season wore us out here in Raleigh!

Judy - Of course there's no training - it was a rest day! We're definitely on the same wavelength, cause I rolled over and turned the alarm clock off. I did run across the parking lot after returning a movie at Blockbuster, and when I got in the car DH asked "Why were you running?" to which I replied "Because I can!"

Jen - I'm so sorry you got bad news! The dreaded PF is bad enough, but an added ankle injury - ouch! Hope a couple of weeks off will do the trick.

Vic - Congrats on doing the TM despite everything saying no!

Stephanie - Great LR.

Bill - Good luck returning to work, continuing to train, and keeping Lynnda sane!

Shan - Awesome pace.

Andrew - Glad the legs are feeling better.

No training today. My big accomplishment was booking my room for the Half! I almost went ahead and booked rooms for October for the ToT race, but don't want to jinx my chances of talking DH into that one! Tomorrow's supposed to be gorgeous, so planning on doing a semi-LR outside.

Have a great weekend!

Jackie

Good Evening All

Sitting here watching David Lean's "Oliver Twist" from 1948, starring Sir Alec Guiness and Robert Newton. I've not seen this version, and am enjoying it, but I still can multi-taskpirate: .

Also, I'll likely get scarce in the next 4 weeks. Commencement is 28 days from tomorrow, and beside a ton of work we'll have a house full of lunatics before that day. If I can still stand on the afternoon of May 19, I'll be doing good.

Pungodingy - I encourage you to be patient and stay with it. It is a very long process building up, and you'll have good days and bad days. The tales here, of those good and bad days help. You can empathize with the bad days, and take heart to hearing of the good days. When I was a very early stage PhD student, and it looked completely impossible to achieve, we always celebrated BIG any fellow student who completed and defended their dissertation. It was living proof that IT CAN BE DONE. Don't get beaten down by those of us who are achieving success, we all have had those bad days, but hearing the success stories is meant to make you feel it's possible.

Cam - You have turned the corner, young lady, and you said it yourself. You've reached the point where you cannot stand being idle, not training, not getting out. This feeling will carry you for a million miles during your lifetime. Sitting still is not an option, moving and doing is what it's all about. Get better and get out there!!

Jackie - Yes, you have to run fast to run fast. Good for you, you've experienced the positive impact of hard training.

MelR - best wishes to you and Phil with health news. I must tell you, in our freshman year Foundations class we've been working through a case series about a bike shop founded by a husband and wife team. From now on to me you'll be the shop's female founder and repair wizard.

Tiberius - by varying the pace and distance you'll get adjusted to carrying a bit quicker pace and still feeling easy. Running the same distance and same pace every day trains you to do just that, and nothing else. Mixing it all up trains you to do different distances and paces.

Bill, Lyndda, and Timmy - it's great to hear of the health improvements. Many of your training buddies have experienced similar trials and tribulations with our little ones. I know you'll be busy, but on May 19, 2007, our young lady who had her own difficult health early days, including a few in neonatal icu, will receive a B.S. in Managment, concentration in Finance, from Babson College. In May of 2029 I expect to hear from you of Timmy's pending graduation, and of his proud parents who will be there, remembering those early days. You 4 all are in my thoughts.

Cindy - Kendall square, eh? I suppose the rational thing to do is hold office hours late in the afternoon, and then run the Charles River loop. I assume there are marked routes of knows distance. If you could let me know how to find out the details I would appreciate it. In long ago years I was a regular along Auditorium Shores in Austin, and it would be nice to get comfortable training around the Charles basin.

Susie - I like your style, 5K to warm up and get moving. Alternatively you could follow a philosophy which ensures successful and enjoyable races, "start slowly, and then ease off the pace."

Leana - "Go Canucks" in Calgary? If I remember my Canadian geography, the Canucks represent Vancouver, and the Flames represent Calgary. In addition, the Flames have their name and roster on the Stanley Cup, and the Canucks do not. Of course, the Canucks have far better sweaters. So what made you a Canucks supporter?

Dave - yes, sub 9:09 gets you in under 2 hours. Think about the likelihood of that last year when you were fighting serious leg problems. I do think you are capable of it with fresh legs on race day and being all juiced up. Also, having Steve as a running budy, even with a rope between you, will help so much. I'd like to see a 1:59:59 report from the Pig.

Krista - be sure to tease Steve as often as possible.

Matt - good for you, and thanks for the tri photos. Being a U Texas alum it sort of looks like you are giving the hook'em sign with your hand. What is it exactly. And . . . it's late Friday night, I'm tired, and my inhibitions are down. I'm sure I'm not the only one who thought it, and I'm happy to be the only one who says it, your cute little blue swim cap in looks like you have a condom on your headpirate: . Sorry, but I couldn't resist.

Jen - sorry about the PF. I'm sure the ankly injury from long ago doesn't help either. Remember being out there, participating in life, even if you need to slow down a bit beats the pants out of watching life go by. Get better and get out there.

Sunny - Thanks!

Stephanie - 2 runs in less than 12 hours, including 1 of 9 miles in 84:30 is pretty amazing. Long ago I learned that hard efforts with less than 24 hours in between was a recipe for disaster. You're really doing well.

Martha and Carrie - 16 days to the Minnie 15K. I'm expecting results. Don't disappoint me:rolleyes: .

And finally, I do appreciate everyone's reactions to what happened at Tech on Monday. We really saw the worst and best of the human condition that day. The kids never realize their faculty love them, until things get bad. The holocaust survivor who gave his life for his kids showed what love truly is.

What disturbs me most is 2 things. The first is when I first heard of it I wasn't surprised anymore. What a statement that is about the world of 2007 we live in. The second is just how spinelss school, college, and university administrators are these days. At Columbine, at Tech, at every incident, the shooters had "a history," kwere nown to all, and were known dangers to themselves and innocents. And in every case no one, nobody, acted like an adult and stopped what was coming. They sat, did nothing, waited for the inevitable, and then said in public "there was nothing we could do." There was, but you chose not to. Innocents died because you were afraid to do something. I hope you never sleep at night again, because so many who depended on you are now dead.

My mother called a couple of nights ago and asked if I was safe on campus. I had to tell her, no, absolutely not. I know this wasn't what she wanted to hear, but it, sadly, is the truth.

And thanks to the media for glorifying the shooter. He wanted to go out in glory, and the media facilitated it. I see we had another one today SE of Houston, not doubt influenced by what was aired this week. I'm sure the media don't think they played any role. "Us? We're just reporting the news."

Okay, that's out of my system. My best to all of you, all my friends. Enjoy the lovely spring weather which nature has finally given us this weekend. If you're running this weekend, keep yourself in control in the early miles, and finish with style.

Craig

Well, I got some antibiotics and some cough medicine and a good night's sleep. I'm feeling quite a bit back to normal tonight. That's good. It's supposed to be absolutely lovely here this weekend so I hope to get out for a good 9.25 mile run. Next weekend is a 10K I'll be running with DH. Then the Minnie Marathon!!! Woo-hoo!!

I may not get to everyone, so:
To those who are under the weather, , I hope you get better.

To those with injuries, pixiedust: , I hope you heal quickly.

Cam: hope you're feeling better today!!

Jackie: training at 11:00 pm at night!?! I'm usually asleep at that time so kudos to you for doing that!!

Stephanie: did you make it to the running clinic? How did it go?

Mel: sounds like things are going quite well at your new job! I'm quite jealous of that. I wish my job was going half as well.

bekkiz: nope, not bad etiquette at all to sign up to walk but do some running. Just do what you want to do on the run.

Lily: glad to hear your PT went well this week! Mine had to cancel and due to my trip next week, I won't be working out with her.

Cindy: kudos to you for training in the rain and wind. I'd have opted for the TM! You're a better man than I, Gunga Din!!!!

Susie: I've always been amazed as how many people are up at 5:00 am to work out. Gyms are quite busy at that time. I'm still asleep or at least pretending to be so I'm warm and cozy in my bed. Mmmmm.

Nancy: good to hear your hip is doing better but sorry about your asthma and allergies. This time of year is brutal on that. pixiedust: for getting better soon!!

Leana: snow!?! :scared1: Haven't we had enough of that!?!

Dave: great pace on your run!! :yay: You ought to be really pleased!!!

Kiena: happy to hear the girls did well on their 5K! Did they get a bling for the race?

Matt: Matt, Matt!! Oooo, I LOVE the fashionable hat!!! Nice eye candy...Mmmmmmmm!!!

Jen: NOOOOOOOO!!! Oh, I am so sorry to hear you cannot run for a couple weeks!! Is there another form of cardio you can do, like maybe the bike?

Sunny: thank you!! I feel the same way aobut the media. I don't watch local news at all--it's nothing but tabloid stuff anyway. I'm sick of the news lowering themselves the way they do. I couldn't have said it better!!!

Bill: sorry to hear Timmy was doing a bit poorly but am happy to hear things are improving. I am totaly with your DW. When I was on maternity leave I had to get out of the house every day or I went stir crazy. There were a couple times when DH got home from work that I plopped DD in his arms before he even got his coat off and I headed out the door.

Shan: hey, great job on the run/walk!! You should be pleased.

Calcio: as always :love2:

It's getting close to bedtime. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. To everyone running a race this weekend, let us know how it goes!! And, good luck!

Ah, the Canucks. Yes, I have to be careful how loudly I cheer for them out here. I was born in Calgary, but left when I was three so I never had a chance to get into hockey and cheer for the Flames. My first live hockey game was in Vancouver vs. Edmonton when I was 13. I saw the Canucks get trounced something like 8 to 1. It was terrible, but I was hooked and I cheered for the Canucks (probably because my dad cheered for them too). Onward to 2 years of high school and 5 years of university in Vancouver and I am a fervent Canucks supporter. I even missed my cousin's wedding to go to game 6 of the Stanley Cup finals when the Canucks played the Rangers back in 1994. (We won't talk about how horrible game 7 was though...)

So yeah, no Cup for them, not yet. But the Flames are my backup team now that I just moved back to Calgary, but the Canucks will always be my number 1!

Cam - Sending:wizard: to yu. Hope you're feeling better soon!

Lily - glad to see your post and that you're doing fine!

Craig - Congrats on MIT! :cool1:

Matt
- Great photos! What tri was this?

Jen - Sorry to hear you're grounded. I'm stuck doing xt, too.

Bill - Glad Timmy's doing better!

MelR
- Hope everything works out for Phil. I'll keep good thoughts!

Angie - hang in there. You're doing fine! It's a steady process, which will have gains and setbacks along the way. As long as you keep trying, you'll be fine. I'll soon be starting and trying to be patient will be the hardet part.

I spent most of the day doing housework. Six weeks of crutches left my house in a little bit of a shambles. Took the day off from work to get everything back in order.

I'm hoping to start back at the gym on Monday. Gonna do some swimming. hope I can make it from one end to the other!

Terri

Good end of the week to everyone!

Martha - Glad you are starting to feel human again.

Cam - I hope you are doing better. Your fine for Minnie. Just get the lungs clear first and you'll be great.

Jen - I'm sorry about the PF. Hang in there.

Terri - Be careful with the swimming. I had some achilles issues last summer and found that I really felt it when I swam. Pushing off and and extending your toes to kick can really stress the tendon.

Dave and Steve and ropes and such - I'll take the high road and not comment but... totally unrelated I'm sure:
Bekkiz- Hey, sitting on those balls is hard work! I'm amazed you can do it after your surgery.

Well, I had physical yesterday at the urging of DW. She mainly wanted some assurance that I wouldn't keel over dead on the marathon course in a few weeks, especially since she will be in The World running Minnie and wouldn't be around to claim the body.

Let's just say I was under the impression that a person should at least get a dinner and movie before that kind of action! I think that appointment classifies as going to "third base" Yikes! :scared1: I get to go back next week for a stress test. Maybe I'll get some flowers.

Training went pretty well this week. Got all my runs in, with a "short" 12 mile LR on Thursday. Went faster than I really wanted to, but I have a tendency to look at the Garmin and think "Oh, I'm close to <insert pace here>. I'll just push it a bit." It's not my fault; the Garmin made me do it!

Good luck to everyone racing today. Have fun!

Mike: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: You slay me! I almost spit my tea all over the computer screen! I'll be giggling about that one for a while.

I've decided to run time, not distance, today. I was going for 9.25 to 9.5 miles this morning. However, with this upper respiratory infection, and I am feeling better, I thought it'd be better to run 100 minutes instead. That way I won't try to outdo the last few weeks of distance running and have a relapse.

And it is BEAUTIFUL outside today! The sun is shining, the birds are singing, it's 48 degrees at 8:50 am so you KNOW it will get warmer and no rain in the forecast!! Woo-hoo. After 6 long days of rain, wind and general miserable stuff, it's a welcome sight.

Good luck to everyone this weekend with races, runs and general workouts. For those who are sick, please get well. We want you back 100% soon!

Martha - I was NOT training at 11:00pm, trust me. I was complaining that I had to pick up DD at work and wouldn't get to bed until then, which would make the 5am appt with the TM really tough! Glad you're feeling better.

It's an absolutely perfect day here too. Just got back from my first outside LR in weeks. Between weather and the PF, it's been 6 weeks since I've been outside and I'd forgotten just how wonderful it was! I tried a new route, and I've found the route I'm going to run when the LR's get longer as the training steps up. I get bored really easily, and I've been worried about finding places to keep my interest, but I discovered a new greenway that is absolutely perfect. I started at my regular park (2.0 mile loop), but forked off on a trail that just keeps going, and going, and going... turned around at 3.75 so I wouldn't overdo it, finished with 5.6 miles in 1:10 for a 12:42 avg. Actually slower than I felt like I was doing, but the Garmin lost the signal a lot due to the trees, so I'm going to blame it on that!

For those of you lucky enough to have spring today, enjoy!

Jackie

Jackie, is it around Shelley lake? I'm getting bored with Heritage, but hate to have to get in the car to get to my route. Wakefield has lots of mileage for walking, but again, I need to get in the car.

Jeanne - I did a loop around Shelley, then went under the road (and across the creek) to the greenway that runs along North Hills Drive (I think - it's all wooded and absolutely gorgeous), then it crosses North Hills and runs behind Polo Run apartments and eventually goes under Glenwood Avenue and comes up at Crabtree Mall. I didn't make it that far this morning, but figured eventually I will when I'm ready for more mileage! It's 1.5 miles from Shelley Lake to where it crosses North Hills Dr.

Jackie

I went to the Rail Trail today for my 7 mile LW. It is the first time I have been there and it is flat and alot of shade so should be a good place to do my LW in the summer. The main reason I had avoided going there is because of having to drive, but I was also getting bored with my current walk routes so for now it is someplace new.

Mike- That is so funny your remarks about the physical.

Martha Glad you are feeling better.

Cam Hope you are starting to feel better.

My allergies weren't so bad today while walking so only used 1/2 box of tissues instead of a full box.

I hope everyone is having great weather this weekend and can enjoy being outside. Central PA is to be in the 70's.

Nancy

Can you say SSSSTTTTTOOOOOOONNNNNNKKKKKKEEEERRRR!?! What a horrible LR today! The worst I can remember. And it was gorgeous outside! Aaaaaaaarrrrgggghhhhh!!! :sad2:

The first 50 minutes was fine but the second, well, I couldn't even do 50 minutes! I ended up with a total of 96:46. During the last 2 miles I felt like puking! What a waste of 96 minutes!

Jackie: Oooohhhh. I thought you meant that you were training at 11:00 pm. Well, 5:00 am on a saturday is still waaaaayyyy better than I could do.

Nancy: excellent news on the allergy front. Only 1/2 a box--that's great!

I hope everyone has a better workout than I did today!!!!

Kristi - Oh don't get too excited, girl! It wasn't THE Reznick. No, no, I would have been on the phone to you SO quick if it was!
Ok, that's good. And you better have called me! :faint:

Ok, totally off topic.....

Before the show!
mng_email_resize.jpg

(I have no idea why that isn't just showing up here - argh!!)

We had 7th row, center seats...well, HAD is the operative word....
we rushed the stage when they started, and I was on the rail right at John's mike! That must be some xt! :faint: :lovestruc :rockband:

Ok, time to work on my 144 pictures...and get 60 mins real xt in sometime before bedtime!

I went for a training run and (for the first time) ran 5K without a walk break, actually going 3.7 miles in under 44 minutes for my best time in this distance--not counting all those years ago when I was in shape. Ended up doing 5.1 miles total today.

Hi everyone, got my 7 miler is this morning. It was cold but sunny out this morning, and the forecast called for rain and not much warmer so I figured I'd better get out there. Early in mile 2 I ran up a hill popular for hill training called McHugh Bluff. I gained about 137 ft in 0.3 miles. Yikes, it was tough, and it took a lot out of my legs, but into mile 3 I felt as though my legs were back under me and the rest of the run felt really strong. I finished in 1:21:15 for an 11:36/mi pace.

It is still really sunny and beautiful out, so maybe the weather guy got it wrong on the rain... Thankfully it looks like spring is coming back next week!! Have a great weekend everyone.

Hi Team!

This afternoon I walked to the farthest corner of Denmark :thumbsup2 Awesome place to see the 2 seas come together.

I realized just how very out of shape I am. I've spent a lot of time walking in Denmark as parking is awful. With this nice base I just need to keep moving!

No time to read. WISHing you all the best :cool1:

I actually have something (relatively) interesting to post, so here it is:

I ate so much sugar and refined carbs yesterday that I decided to go for a run after work even though it was a rest day - I wound up PRing my 5k time on the TM (29 min)! It was a magical combination of new skirtsports running skirt, birthday ice cream cake for lunch, and cuban coffee, wheeee heeee :dance3:

Florida WISHers- I was driving home today from Target along my usual running route, and there was a big crowd gathered, police, and animal control. There was a GIGANTIC alligator in the canal that runs alongside the running path!! It was at least 7 feet long. DFH doesn't like for me to run outside by myself after dark, but I always thought I was a tough girl  and could take care of myself. Never, never again will I run by myself after dusk after seeing that monster! Craziness!!

Hi TEAM! I'm going to join Martha with a STONKER report!! I was stupid and slept in a little this morning, because of that I didn't get started on my run until after 10:00 and it was already about 75 degrees. I was so HOT the entire run and felt like I needed to puke the entire time. I was doing 3.70 mile loops of my neighborhood, so whenever I passed our house I came in and poured water on my head. That helped, but only until I dried out. I finished really slooooow, with 11 miles in 2:06, I am so hoping that it's cooler for the Pig! But guess what: I'm officially in taper madness!!! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: To celebrate, Stephen and I went to the Cheesecake Factory where I quickly replenished the 1100 calories I burned on the run. :)

Jennifer--You saw a 7 foot alligator in the road??!?!  I will never complain about living in Ohio. I like your pre-run meal! I often eat cake for breakfast. I know one of these days my metabolism is going to catch up with me, but until then I'm going to enjoy it!! :upsidedow

Mike--:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Why is it your posts always make me LOL??? Have fun with the doctor! I mean at the doctor's. ;)

Minnie--Denmark? Cool!! Take lots of pics!

Martha--I'm so sorry that you had a stonker today, you were not alone!! This going from highs of 20's to high's close to 80 is taking it's toll on many of us. Be proud that you stuck with it when it was so hard.

Christa--Is your knee feeling better?

Terri--Be careful!! Take your time easing back into working out.

Jen--I'm sorry you have to take some time off from running. :wizard: for your PF!!

Bill--I'm glad to hear that Timmy is doing better. I can't to meet him in October.

Lynnda--HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Leana--WOW! That's a huge hill!! Do you wanna come run the Pig? It sounds like you're ready for it. :)

Kristi--I guess you didn't get arrested last night. Does Cam still have the bail fund?

Sunny--How was your 20 miler?

Everyone enjoy the rest of your weekend!!!!

Ok, I’m going to try to catch up with everybody, but I know I’ll miss some, so I apologize in advance.

Jennifer—way to go on the PR! Sounds like a science experiment trying to figure out the right combination of sugar/carbs to create the perfect run. :)

Leana—nice job on the run and the HILLS. :scared1: You are braver than I.

Tiberius—congrats on the new running milestone. It’s funny how all those little events come together to create one great story of this crazy thing called running.

Kristi—love the new Johnny pic! (well, I don’t love it in the same way you love it, but you know what I mean :) ).

Martha—sorry about the stonker run. :( Hey, look on the bright side, if they were all great runs, you wouldn’t get a chance to appreciate the really great ones when they actually do happen.

Nancy—glad you found a new route that will work for you. Speaking of allergies, mine were really bad today on the run, too. Maybe if everyone stopped mowing their grass, the allergies wouldn’t be so bad. Or maybe I’m just jealous because everyone else mowed their lawn today and I still have to do ours tomorrow. :(

Jackie—nice job on the run and glad you were able to get back out there.

Mike—you crack me up (as always)! Please turn your head and cough…

Craig—hang in there over the next 4 weeks. Even if you can’t be around here much, we’ll be thinking about you (and I’m sure Martha will keep us updated, especially if you crack under all the pressure and you end up going completely nuts. “Don’t drive angry, don’t drive angry.” )

Andrew—glad you were able to do the “wog” pain free. Way to go! Take it easy and don’t stress those legs too much.

Shan—nice job on the weekly mileage! Don’t you just hate it when people drive by and think it’s funny that you’re “suffering” and they’re not. Not that I would have any choice hand signals for those type of people or anything…..

Christa—OUCH on falling off the stage! Hope your knee is ok and glad you can at least bike in the meantime.

Bill—why can’t doctors understand how problem solving “actually” works, huh? That would drive me nuts, too. Tell Lynnda we’re all glad she’s able to get around a little more now. Actually, just tell her we’re glad she doesn’t have to see you as much anymore. :)

Stephanie—9 miles in 84 min—and you think it's not great??? I think that’s pretty darn good. Way to go.

Sunny—how did your 20 miler go?

Jen—sorry about your foot. Hope things start to work out for you. Did you every find an assistant? I may have missed it, but I can’t remember.

Judy—I see no lack of training in your post. Heck, sometimes replying to this thread should count as cross training in itself. :)

Dave—I have no words. By the way, YOU started the rope thing, and now look where it got us. It’s all your fault. All of it. :rolleyes1

Lily—hope the legs are feeling better.

Bekkiz—I wouldn’t think it would be a problem to sign up as a walker and then jog some, especially if, like you said, it’s more of a “fun run” than anything else. Let us know if the course marshals drag you off to runner’s jail, though. :)

Cam—so sorry to hear about you. Hope you feel better soon.

Well, I got my last real LR in before the Flying Pig. I did 17 miles in about 2:48 or so. I felt good through the whole run except for the fact that the great Ohio weather has brought us an oven to bake in this weekend. Actually, I shouldn’t complain. It’s 70-something and sunny, great for any other activity except running long distance. I guess I’ve just been used to colder temps recently. On a good note, I think I’m ready for any weather the Pig can throw at me. I ran that half marathon last weekend in the cold rain (almost snow temps) and then had the other extreme today. So unless we have a tornado or typhoon (not completely out of the question in Ohio  ), I should be ok. Either way, I’ve decided that my new running hat is the greatest thing since sliced bread and can be great in cold or hot weather. Why didn’t anyone tell me about these things sooner?? :confused3 I’m going to try to bike around 30 miles or so tomorrow, so we’ll see how that works out.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend and good luck to all the racers this weekend. By the way, since there are so many of us with half marathons and other races in a few weeks, and a lot of people are tapering, does that mean this thread is going to turn into taper madness again? I don’t know if I can handle that. :) See you guys!

Steve

A couple of things I forgot to mention in my previous post. I'm a victim of chub rub. :sad2: It was so hot today that the Body Glide evaporated practically as soon as I put it on. I now have a lovely case of chub rub, the first time that's happened to me I think ever or at least in a really, really long time. Baby powder is my best friend today. And I was having WDW marathon flash backs today that was triggered by the mixing smells of Body Glide, sweat, body heat, and sun screen. Isn't being a runner GREAT??!!
