Also, for those of you who made the jump. Did you do the tutorial or skip it? Do you know if it makes a difference?

Um, I never received an email. I did the tutorial because I wasn't thinking...heh. No clue if that makes any difference, however I truly doubt it because you need to see Mr. Advancer to 'jump' ahead.

Muahaha! Aengus, I don't know if anyone can skip the first world, I only tried it with my Fiona avatar. I have not tried it with another.

I was well into Krokotopia, but never got a letter. Maybe they knew that I had decided to start at the beginning again anyway.

I had no interest in multiple characters, so I figured I'd just do one and start at the beginning. I did get 6 different pets, though. The new ones are so cute.

I kept the same name and school: Abigail Griffinsong (Fire) just to make it easier. Is there a meet up scheduled soon so we can all re-find each other?

I don't have the Krok jump instructions, sorry!

I sure wish you had warned me about the Tomb of the Beguiler, Diva. Made me long for Sunken City.

I got through it with the help of two others, but OMG!

I don't have the Krok jump instructions, sorry!

The only email I've received from Wizard101 since notice of the wipe last week was one telling me that I was on the waiting list for admittance! I sure hope they haven't gotten my account screwed up.

Now I'm worried...

Now I'm worried...

I did not receive an email with instructions for jumping ahead, I simply logged on, created my avatar and found the NPC (Mr. Advancer) who levelled me up to level 14 Pyromancer. Easy peasy!
Now, my problem currently is that I forgot how to open the gate to Colossus Blvd. It's the only area I can't access, but I don't remember which quest opened that and I've searched through these pages without seeing what was posted before. Does anyone remember which quest that was and where I would go to start it? I really love that snow...

He's at the entrance to the Dragon Mouth's Cave in Golem Court.

I had six characters before the wipe (I was playing around to see who got what magic...) so I just went ahead and created them all again. My original and main character (Autumn DayBreaker) did not take the leap 'cause I figured she ought to earn it. I *did* allow one boy and on girl wizard to visit Mr Advancer, but they are so far ahead of where I was that I'm not sure I will play them... I did gather a fairly nice menagerie though.

but it's weird one is lower than the other? so i guess each class get;s upgraded at slightly different times strange 0_0

I went on last night and jumped my character up with NO PROBLEM and I never got any letter at all with "instructions."

Just in case you were waiting - I suggest just going and doing it - just visit the person in Golem area.

Hi there,

I am still Rowan DragonFlame in the school of Fire, secondary: Life.


I am off to WDW for a week for my Birthday/4th of July celebration with qruthie. We will be on the 11th floor of the Contemporary with a Magic Kingdom view. (yeah I am still mad at Disney, but this trip was planned way before they announced vmk was going to close)

I hope that the laptop I got from work will load the wizards game! If I can't get the game to load I will see you all in a week!

I am now Taryn Sparkledust and I'm starting from scratch. I did however make a new character just because I wanted to take a look around at Krok .. whatever it's called. Just curious .. I like the look of wizrd city better. Oh well, now back to the beginning.

I was just wondering if this is a game that has an ending? Meaning once you've completed all the levels, is that it, you move onto something new? It's a lot different than vmk .. certainly not as social.

I believe the 'end', so far, is that you defeat Wizard's version of Voldemort. The name escapes me...but there was a blurb about that in the tutorial.

I did that spell today! In golem tower u get a treasure card it is random tho
