For Christmas DH and I got an IOU for AP from my parents. (they will use their military discount to purchase our AP gift) Assuming we get a code for dining...
We book Aug 16-23 on free dining at a moderate, buy a 1 day ticket to make it a package.
Save the 1 day ticket (or use it, I can't figure out which is the way to go as I have read both) and upgrade it into an AP (with the military discount at Shades of Green)on day 2 of the trip. Yes parents will be with us.
I already have booked value at 40% for August 23-26, no dining, just parks with the new AP.
Does anyone see anything wrong with this logic? Or do you have a better plan for us?
