Ok, please help me out. Newbie, not even yet through rofr, but nonetheless excited.
Just sent in our paperwork on a 50 point unit at OKW. It has a UY of August, and the contract still has all of its points from 08.

So if my wife and I want to go (assuming availability) to vero beach in june or july, and use 100 points for a 5 night stay in a 1bd room. We would be using our banked 08 points and borrowing our 09 points.

Then in September of '10 we want to goto OKW or AKL. We have our '10 points that went in in August 10, and would borrow our 11 points. for 100 points.

Am I close?

Our plan is to take a trip every other year, but doubling up since we have the banked points.

Need all the help I can get!

Your 08 points shouldn't be banked, June and July is within your 08 UY. You will need to borrow from your 09 points.

Actually, since that trip would occur in your '08 use year, you will be using current '08 points UNLESS the previous owner already banked them. If they were already banked, then you will need to borrow '09 points to use for that trip, and you will only have 50 of those available. If the '08 points are still intact (not banked since you are in the '08 use year), then you can use those 50 plus borrow the 50 from the August '09 use year for your summer trip. That will mean you will not be able to take a 100 point trip again until 2011.

ok, so you can not borrow every year the next years points?
only every other year.
