With EE preview, how busy will AK be Jan 26-29?

Now that the AP preview has been announced for Expedition Everest, does anyone have thoughts on how much busier AK may be during those dates? Do the previews really bring in the crowds, or do people come only to ride the new ride? We were originally planning to be at AK on the 26th, but now I'm not so sure. Would AK be more busy on the 28th or 29th because it is the weekend?
Any ideas on past previews?
Thanks!

I bet Saturday and Sunday will be busier with the locals. I don't think there would be a dramatic impact on the 26th, but I really don't know. :confused3

I'm looking into my crystal ball...

I see MOUNTAINS of people.

An AVALANCHE of fans.

ROCK solid lines going FORWARD and BACKWARDS in the queues
(they may even bump INDIA).

TRAIN-loads of eager guests,
each with ROLLERCOASTER emotions of anticipation.

If someone faints from excitement, you may see HIMALAYAN on the ground as others pass by... for the line stops for SNOWMAN.

It SNOW fun for those who hate crowds,
YETI still could be fun, I'm TIBETIAN'.

(Please forgive this ABOMINABLE post. I could not EVEREST if you did not.)
:teeth:

Robo, that's hilarious! Thanks for my laugh for the day!

Re: the crowds - I'll be in line, no matter how long! Since Test Track is closed during our visit, this will make up for it! I would agree with the guess that the weekends will be slightly more busy with local folks.

Any chance that us regular folks, without AP's, visiting the park that week will be able to preview the ride? My husband would love it and that is when we will be there.

I would anticipate the crowds to be extremely large with the DVC preview and now all the AP holders getting to jump in as well.
We were at the AP passholder event back when they opened Primeval Whirl at AK and it was a complete mob scene.
I would try to make my day to ride the 26th.
