Wishes viewed from Town Square?

OK, so I have a fastpass for the MSEP Friday Jan 30 for the 7pm parade. Because of hub construction, the FP viewing area is town square at the flagpole area. Wishes is at 8 and the park is closing then. I'm debating just staying put in Town Square to view Wishes so I can make a quick exit from the park, but how good is the view from there? My alternative is to surge forward at the end of the parade and make my way closer to the hub.

Not good at all in my opinion. Follow the last float of the parade up Main Street to the southern half of the Hub.
