Wishes view from outside WDW?

On my trip next month I'll be driving into WDW from the airport on a Saturday night when it's just about time for Wishes. Can you think of anywhere we could stop and see the fireworks? I don't really think we'll have time to get into the MK, plus I'm not sure I want to get involved in the traffic leaving MK at closing. I don't know if we'd have time to get into a MK resort restaurant in time to see it, plus we'll already have eaten. Is there anywhere outside of the MK area where we could have a view of Wishes? Maybe we could go to the upstairs lounge at the Wyndham or something. This is my fiance's first time there and I want to impress him. It would be great to just "happen upon" the fireworks on the way in from the airport! I'd appreciate any ideas you experts can come up with. Thanks.

I don't think it's possible to see Wishes from outside WDW....maybe from the roof of a Downtown Disney resort, but I doubt it. The fireworks probably don't get high enough to compensate for the shallow angle you'd be looking at from that distance. Good luck, though!

If you happen to drive along CR535 just south of Reams Road, you will have a perfect view.

Our house (not finished yet) is off of Highway 535. We can see the wishes fireworks REALLY good from there. It is located in Summerport, just north of Reams road.

Our DD lives in a townhome off Reams Road and we have a wonderful view of WISHES from her back yard. Of course, you can't hear the music or narration and a few of the lower fireworks aren't visible--but you still get a great show. From the other posts, this looks like a good area for you.
