Wishes/Spectromagic

From reading about both shows here on the DIS, I think that Wishes would probably be the best show to see, however, I would like to try and see both Wishes AND Spectromagic, IF possible. I noticed that the times for both shows are only an hour apart. Is it possible to make it to both, or should we just try for one this time?

It is surely possible!

After Spectro is done, stay on Main Street in your spot, or go to what ever viewing area you can get to from 9:20 to when the show starts. You have 40 minutes to travel, or to stay put on Main Street.

You can do both.
We did the fireworks the first trip and Spectromagic the second.
I enjoyed Spectromagic more because it was so totally different than anything else I'd ever seen.

We love both shows - they are our favorites - classic Disney magic.

Wanted to pass along a tip... if there are two Spectro shows that night (for example, at 8 and 10) with Wishes in between (say, 9)... here is our approach.

During the first Spectro, we continue to get on rides. Often the lines get shorter b/c so many people are going to see the parade. We then get a spot for Wishes. After the fireworks are over, we get a spot on Main Street or in the hub to see the second Spectro. The crowds are much smaller!

I agree, you can do both, rather easily actually. I totally agree with the poster above about the strategy for a night with 2 Spectro showings.
We watched Wishes from the Tomorrowland bridge and then walked over to Liberty Square and watched Spectro there. It probably would have been quicker just to walk to Main Street, but I love the feel of Liberty Square.
