We're going in late Sept. and I thought we might just hop into MK to see Wishes on our arrival day. We're staying at Poly. Has anyone ever done this and if so, how early do I need to arrive (fireworks are at 8 pm on 9/27)? Also, since we have 3 kids - would this be torturing them - "sorry gang, just here for the show?" Thanks!!!

Well it might kinda be torture lol!!! Another idea is to watch wishes from the beach of the poly that way if you think your kids will get upset about not doing rides you can still have that lil bit of magic on your first night. If you do decide to go I wouldn't leave the POly later than 7. Even though it's the off season( I'll be there the same time) people still line up like 30-45 min early.Have a great trip.

Watch it from the beach at Poly or have dinner at Ohana's and watch from the restraunt. We prefer Wishes outside of the park to being in the park.

Watch it from the beach. It will be much less of a hassle.

Also, one night we were leaving MK and I planned on watching and taping the fireworks from our balcony at GF. We got stuck on the monorail for 45 minutes missing Wishes. The kids were asleep but I was heartbroken!
