FOr those of us going during 4th of July week--Will you be standing to see both of these night shows or just one?? If one which one?? I'm going to see Fantasy in the sky on July 3rd. Later that week on m MK day should I plan on rides for that time or watches wishes?? I travel with DH, DS 7, DD2.
THanks for any help

Absolutely do not miss Wishes!! It is a fantastic show. We saw Wishes when we arrived at the Magic Kingdom in December 2004 on our first night there. All I can say is WOW!! My DS(13) said that it was the best thing he had ever seen and he is a typical cynical 13 year old boy.

Have a great trip!

I second - DO NOT MISS WISHES!!!!

Although Fantasy in the Sky will always have a special place in my heart, Wishes is just incredible!!! It was so good that the first time I saw it (right from the hub in front of the castle) I cried like a baby at the end. MY DH thought I had officially lost it at last!!

Wishes Wishes Wishes!! FITS is a classic and will always be special to me...but I'm with the others, Wishes is phenomenal!!

Wishes was absolutely unbelievable. It truly captured the magic within all of DISNEY lovers with the music tied to the fireworks!! I was really in awe watching it. Try standing right outside the ice cream parlor.

To beat the dead horse,

DONT MISS WISHES! I actually am glad they are bringing back FITS for the holidays since I haven't seen it since it left, but Wishes is INCREDIBLE and MUCH better than FITS. FITS doesnt have nearly as many shells either.

Both are great shows but wow Wishes is great, and longer than FITS as well.

I wonder if I could go in to watch Wishes on a non-MK night like say the night of the day we do AK then just leave after the show. I have park hopper so we'll see. I just hoping to use the time when wishes is to catch some extra rides with not so long lines. I'll have to put it in the schedule thanks guys.

I too say don't miss Wishes, it is fantastic!! I always get teary eyed when I watch it. I have the CD too so I listen to the music all the time.

If you don't want to go into the park a certain night to see Wishes, you can simply go to the TTC and watch from the Ferry Landing. GREAT spot plus you can hear the music that is piped in.
