Wishes in October???

I've heard conflicting information. On non-MNSSHP nights, is the fireworks show at MK the hallloween wishes or the regular wishes?

I went on an EMH's night (no MNSSHP) and it was Hallowishes. I was really bummed because I wanted to see the regular Wishes. I was told by a CM that all the fireworks were going to be Hallowishes for the month of October, so we didn't bother to go back to the MK for fireworks which was what my MIL booked her trip to see. When I heard I was given misinformation, I was really annoyed.

Well, I had no idea - during MVMCP nights, the regular non-party nights is regular Wishes. Guess I learned something new today!

Sorry for my density, but I'm confused from your post. What was the misinformation? Was the CM wrong and they did have regular Wishes another night, or did the misinformation come before the trip and it is true that only Halloween Wishes runs in October?

From what I'm hearing now, after the fact, regular "Wishes" does happen during October. The misinformation I received (evidently, because I didn't see any fireworks at MK during my trip besides my Hallowishes sighting the night I went for EMH) was that ALL fireworks at MK for October were going to be Hallowishes. This, I'm hearing from others that were there the same week I was, is not the case. It was the CM that gave me the misinformation.

You can go to the Disney web site and look at the calendar for the MK for October. it will show you what nights Wishes is held. The nights of the MNSSHP will be the Halloween show. I'm not sure what this show is, anyone know? What's it like?

Hallowishes is the MK's Halloween fireworks show. It has villians and ghoulish music--a lot of Haunted Mansion music---and the castle has ghosts projected on it and turns orange and stuff like that. The fireworks are all halloween colors. I was personally not impressed. Lacked the "magic" that regular "Wishes" has.

We just got back today and yesterday was not a Halloween party night and they had the Hallowishes at 9:00 when the guide said it would be wishes. I was pretty annoyed since I just saw the Hallowishes on Monday during the Halloween party. I was waiting for Tinkerbell too....The Hallowishes was pretty unimpressive the second time around..scary music which frightened my kids 2 and 5.
