We're making an unexpected trip to Orlando for some shopping during our trip to Tampa (leave tomorrow 3/3) and might still be there in time to see Wishes.

I saw on another thread that they can be seen from the dock at the transportation center. Anybody know for sure?

Are there other spots that don't require admission where we can see the show?

THANKS for your help!

I'm sure Wishes (the Fireworks portion) can be viewed from the TTC dock.

I know it can be seen from Poly Beach, but you cannot hear the music or make out the images on the castle. You can see when Tink flies - a small bright dot.

If that is as close as you can get - go for it! But, it is best when viewed from inside the park!

Have fun!

Now I was told that the music is piped in to the beach at the Poly. We are actually counting on that when we go home in April.

On our trip in October, our first night there, we went to dinner at Ohanas (which was very good)!!

After dinner, we walked out to the beach and sat on the swing and within a few minutes, the fireworks started! They were beautiful; but I don't remember hearing any of the music. Later during the week, we were able to watch it from inside the park, and it is a wonderful fireworks show!

Enjoy!

In order for you to even see the castle from Poly Beach you have to move down in front of the concierge building.

There is an island that blocks the view of the castle from the boat dock and the beach in front of the pool.

There are no speakers piping in the music that I heard.

Even with a view of the castle you can't make out any images.

I would suggest viewing the fireworks from the observation deck at the Contemporary. I believe it is the 4th floor. Even better than that would be the California Grill on the top floor if you can get a reservation around the time of the fireworks. This is absolutely the best place to view the fireworks. They even have the sound piped into the restaurant. Good Luck!
