Wishes from Luau? (Or Poly?)

We have ressies for the late Luau showing @ 8. Will we be able to see Wishes scheduled for 10 from here (Don't know how long the show lasts, and if so do they pipe in the music?) or if we get out before Wishes is there a spot at the Poly to see Wishes and possibly hear the music, too?

I know that you can walk out on the beach at the Polynesian and watch the fireworks. The music is piped in inside the main building, but I don't know if you can hear it outside.

As to how long the luau last, I have no idea..sorry. I bet Disney Dining could tell you.

They have the music piped in at the beach, but it was really hard to hear last time we stayed there.

The Luauis about 2 hrs. give or take 15 min. You can see Wishes from anywhere on the Beach or boat launch. As far as music the is iffy. They pipe it in but very hard to here from beach. The show is still worth seeing from the beach but you must see it from inside the park to really appricate it.
