Wishes from inside the Castle?

If we have 6:15 ADRs for CRT and Wishes is at 8 p.m., what are the chances we will be able to watch them from there and is that desirable or should we rush through dinner to watch from somewhere else? I was so disappointed that I didn't get CRT for lunch but settled for dinner instead -- is there a gold lining here? The only downside I see is it's just myself and DD8, I'm not sure it's going to take 1 1/2 hours to eat dinner and I don't want to hog the table. What happens if you show up 15 minutes late? Brenda

You won't be able to see Wishes from CRT or inside the castle. The area around the castle is blocked off a certain amount of time before Wishes starts. They only let people into CRT. when I was there in January that was the case anyways.

I have a 6:50pm ressie for CRT and when I made the ressie she made sure to note that I would not be able to see Wishes, there are no princesses at dinner, and I may have to walk through liberty square or tomorrowland to get to CRT.

Hope that helps some.

Okay, so it sounds like we should enjoy our dinner and then head out for the fireworks. If we are sat by 6:30, we should be out by 7:30 and off to Wishes. Sounds like a plan. Thank you.

So is this a different fireworks show than last year? Because last year I had dinner reservations in order to watch the fireworks from inside, and had a total BLAST. They dimmed the lights and piped in the music. Since I am a DLR gal, and we have no "inside a castle" to go to, the meal alone was a treat. But then to see the fireworks, too...BLISS!

It is the same show. You "can" "see" Wishes from in there if you are sitting at the windows. However if you are not sitting at the windows you will NOT see the show unless you walk to the windows to watch it.

I use the term "see" very carefully (even if you are at the windows) because much of Wishes takes place directly over and around the castle. You will NOT (even if at the windows) be able to see these fireworks over the castle. You will ONLY be able to see the one's that come up from behind the park.

Also I personally believe that much of "Wishes" enjoyment is watching them come up from behind the castle and over the castle, of which you cannot see from this perspective when inside.

You also cannot see Tink's flight.

We say the firworks last May from inside the castle but it was not the same as being outside and seeing them. Our meal took a while too. We were actually escorted out of MK. We did have a big party though as it was a rehersal dinner for my friends wedding.

I agree 100%!

Thanks Everyone. It seems that our ADR is just at the right time then to eat and boogie out of there in time for Wishes. Another thread mentions the barbershop and/or Main Street near the entrance as a great place to watch them -- does any agree/disagree? Brenda
