How great is the Wishes FP spot? How early do I need to arrive to great a good space?

I really want to have a good view of Celebrate the Magic! I have a tiny kid and I don't want to be rude and put him on our shoulders blocking others, so I'm willing to stake out a space!

Thanks for any help!

Not a good use of FP in my opinion. See the green link in my signature for more info. It's off-center and it's just not that hard to find a good place to look up elsewhere.

No need for shoulders, everyone sits on the ground. When you arrive go to the left side. You'll have more of a castle view. I almost canceled the FP because we couldn't get anymore FPs (it was right after the new rule came into effect use the 3 and book a 4th) I'm so glad I kept it. We had my grandkids 8&5, they had a great view, no one walking in front of us, not having to worry about moving or blocking our view. You'll even see adults laying down on the grass to watch.
We arrived at 9:35, there were about 20 people ahead of us but it's a large area. About 9:40 is when they started scanning the FPs and letting people in. Prior to getting in line we walked onto Laugh Floor, Stitch and Speedway was a 10 min wait. I suggest being treats cookies or ice cream a lot of people were bringing food in. It's not something I'd do every trip but my grandkids loved it, especially Celebrate the Magic they played the whole song "Let it Go".

One thing about the FP spot, is that if it's rained that day they may not let you in. We did this back in the testing phase and since it's on grass, they don't want anyone on it if it may be soggy at all, and ruin the grass. Which I understand, but we found out very last minute, and had wasted the FP for the day.

I've seen the picture, I'm having a hard time envisioning what the view looks like. It does look off center. But I know sometimes when you're actually there it ends up being fine.

I'd really like a great view with less than an hour wait.

I'll be there in September which is supposed to be low crowds. With that in mind, where is the best view and what time should I get there?

Then just show up in the Hub area (lined up with the castle) about 20-30 minutes before.

I changed my profile pic. This new one is my grandson. This was taken before Celebrate the Magic in the Wishes FP area (Rose Garden). Just to given you an idea. This on the left side of viewing area. If you notice the tree behind, that's the reason you want to be on the left side. Sorry I don't know how to add a pic into the post. I'm on my mobile app.

Thanks for the map...always helps to see things visually! If we don't use our FP+ for other options we may try this!

Question about this (not trying to hijack the thread). If I want to get to Adventureland during parade/pre-wishes, is there a path to the left from Casey's that avoids the Hub? I can't remember.

Yes, there is a path that passes Casey's and Crystal Palace into Adventureland.

You are so welcome...also forgot at add weather conditions permitting Tinkerbell will fly right over your head. Perfect view! My granddaughter was so excited!
Got a special treat today, my family is a bunch of Disney Junkies. Today my 16 month old granddaughter saw my MagicBand box and said "Dinney" (translation Disney of course) we start them young around here. ;)

Hahahaha! I'm super excited for my trip! We just added another day to the trip!

Mine are 7, 6, and 1. My youngest just walked up to a Mickey shirt at Old Navy and started kissing it! I think she's ready! Lol
