Wishes Fireworks Cruise Times

I'm trying to plan dinner at Ohanas before a Wishes Fireworks Curise. How much sooner than the fireworks start does the cruise leave? Looking at last year's times...fireworks should be around 8:30 for the day I'm thinking of. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

If I remember correctly we had to show up 15 minutes before the cruise was to depart. Wishes cruises leave from more than one resort if you pick a Poly departure it will be easier for you.

I had this discussion with Disney last week as I thought the cruises were scheduled 6 mos in advance (wishful thinking apparently, lol). The cruises are scheduled 30 minutes before the fireworks and they want you to be at the pier 15 minutes before the scheduled departure. They told me the cruises typically last 60-90 minutes.
