Exactly where is this and is it worth it?? Sounds good just to not have to wait forever for fireworks. Any pics of the view from there? How are the desserts? I'm super cheap but can buy into this if it's worthwhile.

If you are super cheap you would probably not like this. Too expensive for what you get. Stand and wait for fireworks

You should experience at least once! It is pricey but you are paying for the convenience and view... not the desserts(which are delicious btw).

It has a good view. Nice to do once. I probably wouldn't pay for it again. The food was just "okay". I enjoyed the ice cream & watermelon the most.

I agree. Penny pitchers hate these events. "it's not worth it" "the desserts are average" "some guy stood in front of me for the fireworks".

Go if $50 is okay to spend for a night out with awesome people and tasty treats.

I will see you there. Woo-hoo!

It is perspective and everyone will have a different perspective. For my family of 5 it is expensive but we are going to splurge on it. We did it a few years ago when it was ½ the price and it was the trip highlight for one of our two kids, and we all enjoyed it. My DH will not line up, or wait in a crowd for Wishes so I decided to put our money into this so we could see Wishes without complaints. We are doing it again on this trip. If you have the $ and want to see Wishes this is a very nice way to do it. Don’t go just for the desserts. The desserts were fine but they were just desserts.

Wow... Let's just make it $100 per person and really sort out the real Disney fans from the pretenders. Great way to sort out the penny pinchers from those who are not. Not trying to flame you here but those who won't spend $50 for this event are not penny pinchers in the same as those who will are irresponsible with their money. We all place value and what we will spend differently. I won't spend this kind of money for this event; the previous price I did and was willing to pay, however others will. The same is true in where we all dine in Disney and the resorts we chose. While I won't spend for this "new" and "improved" event, I will spend in other ways. I prefer signature restaurants for dinner and staying in deluxe resorts. I would never think of calling someone a penny pincher for wanting to stay in a value or moderate resort and dining CS only.

But with all that said, I do feel the desserts are just average (at best) and the experience is not worth it. But that is only my opinion for me. Someone else such as yourself finds it to be of great value for the money and enjoys the tasty treats. Who's right? We both are. This does not make you a free spender and me a penny pincher. We're just both different in where we will spend our money.

Please stop insulting people who have a different POV from you. Is there a reason you can't make your point without being condescending and disrespectful to other posters? I don't appreciate you referencing my personal experience, which was quite upsetting for my children at the time, when I have never insulted your precious, precious dessert party. I have re-booked it twice since then!

I am the furthest thing from a "penny pitcher", but how people value the party can, and does, vary. OP, I think it is very much worth trying, if it sounds good to you. It is just...it is a judgment that only you can make, you know? Along with meal trips review, there is another review of the new iteration of the party in thread towards the end of it:

I chose to do the Dessert Party. I have my reasons as to why we will cough up the money but to me there are various areas of value. I am a self-proclaimed penny pincher but I made room in my budget to accommodate. We have done the party before and while the desserts themselves are not enough to justify the cost at $25/pp, I liked it for other reasons to be worth it at $50/pp for my family of 4 and treating my DSis & her BF.

I don't think this is a matter of the Haves vs The Haves Not.
