I wouldn't have too high expectations because if the theory is true that would mean you could already book August 1st to 12th - which is not possible.. In the past they always released one complete month for reservation..

It seems that there is not really a schedule behind these releases.... kind of random...

It doesn't work that way. They open the whole month on one day. Which day that will be is a mystery. There is no specific date for this reservation. Sorry to say, but you will need to check on it daily via this site, the reservation line, and or the website. I recommend checking all three everyday. It's a pain, but as I stated before, while it seems to be overly popular on the disboards, the general Disney goers are not usually on the radar, so a few days here or there should not make a big difference unless you want a holiday like July 4th.

Just got back from our June trip. The Dessert Party was great!! Our table was right up front. I booked our date the first day the reservations came open, I think this is how they assign the tables. We got in line about 30 minutes ahead of time. We were about the 5th family seated, went right to buffet's, the kids went back up for some favorites, had no problems! A few people stood at the edge of the balcony when the show started but we could still see sitting down from our table. We only stood up to watch tinkerbell We will do this again!

I am hoping for a September reservation as well. Dh and I really really want to do this. It's our dd first trip and I want it to be as magical as it can be. I have been calling every other morning and I am just instructed to call back. Boo!

We are also in the waiting for Sept. line. We did it last year on the 4th of July and it was amazing. We want to do it again as it was raining and a different fireworks show and tinkerbell did not fly that night. Oh, and the deserts were awesome.

I made August reservations 1 week ago on WDW site. I had to manually enter the dates. They already took my money out of my account and I have a reservation #.

I just made a reservation for August 24 by manually entering my date. I had been trying it all week and this morning, for some reason, it went through. I have a confirmation number too! I did call after that to move my son's Pirate League appointment and the cast member I talked to noticed I had just gotten the dessert party reservation and congratulated me. He said it was like the holy grail right now with no rhyme or reason for when you can make a reservation. Hope that helps someone ... I guess just keep trying and it will eventually work

I just called and the CM told me that the hours for Sept are showing, but apparently they haven't loaded the reservations into the system yet. She was unable to make the reservation, but she did confirm that there were NO reservations yet - for that night anyway. So, guess we'll just keep trying.

I did the same thing a few weeks ago, manually entered the date. I will be there the same day as you celebrating my sons birthday.
For those of you who want Sept. try entering the date manually, making sure you use 09 for Sept. and 2011, not 11.

Tried every combination of Sept dates I could think of - none worked. But I'll keep on trying! Hoping for some pixie dust!
