I just booked a birthday trip for myself and the Dessert Party is available on my Birthday, Jan 20th.
I loved doing this with my brothers family last year, is it worth doing when you are by yourself?

This is my first post here:goodvibes

I would say yes if you are a big "sweets" person and you get to see wishes as well.

Seeing that I have had 12 annual solo vacations, I would absolutely say that it is worth it all by yourself.

I, Myself, have never actually done this because, even though I am a sweets person, eating this kind of thing too late in the evening would drive my acid reflux crazy.

I almost wish this kind of thing was about 3 in the afternoon. BUT ... then it would not be a WISHES party.

I taken most of my trips solo, but never done the Wishes party, I feel kind of guilty taking up a table for just myself. But then I figured that since it's so close to the 20th if it was not booked up by now it won't be.

Well it did not take much arm twisting, I booked for the 20th at 7:00, I am drooling just thinking about all those desserts!

Let me know how it goes as it's something I'm considering if it's on when I go and I too was concerned about doing it solo.

I did the Wishes dessert party solo in October.

As you can see, I got a really nice table up front, and since I was only paying for one person, the cost was well worth it. What was kind of disappointing for me was that they seemed to run low on desserts early and cleared out the minute Wishes was done. Here's the picture I took just 10 minutes after Wishes ended-

Simba's Mom thank you for your post and pictures. I feel better knowing other solo travelers have done the dessert.
I am surprised at how fast they cleaned up, you would think that you'd be able to hang around a bit afterwards. The year my brother and I went, we left right after Wishes because the MK had the evening EMH and the kids wanted to get over to space mountain. I would rather sit a while and let the park clear out, but obviously that will not be the case.

It seemed especially strange because the park was open another 2 hours and there was another MSEP, so there shouldn't have been a hurry.
