Wishes Dessert Party ADR Watch Thread December 1-29 2012 Now Open!

I can book for 8/27 or 8/29 but I need 8/28 and it keeps telling me that date is unavailable in the online system. Similarly, when I called the phone rep said she could see a few other people on that day but she couldn't book it either.

We really wanted to do this - I have been trying every day since February 28...

I wonder if 8/28 could be sold out. The August dates began booking on 5/28 so maybe they were snatched up already since it is a Sunday night?

I was just able to make a reservation for 8/31! I did it by entering in the date manually. Thanks for the tip!

I must have gotten lucky I waited until only 3 weeks before my desired date for Wishes Dessert Party ressie. I was able to book space for 7 on a Saturday night. Woot! It wasn't my original night (Friday) but the night after still isn't bad. Is it July 9th yet? I'm sooooooo ready.

I am so tired of waiting for October and to make matters worse everytime I think I finally have my ADR's just the way I want them something happens and I am over here changeing things around. Jet Blue changed my flight the day we arrive by an hour and a half which totally messed up my first day in Disney and I am so afraid I will not be able to get the Dessert Party for the night I want it and will have to adjust everything again

Come on Disney release September and October!

So sorry to hear that... I did hear from others that airlines are changing filight schedules to cut cost. I would definitely freak out if Delta changes our flight. I have planned certain things on our arrival date including a Dis meet and that would be very upsetting if I need to rearrange. Hopefully things work out for you.

That is what I am afraid of. Jet Blue had already changed our departure flight but only by a few minutes no biggy but if they push it up even earlier I do not know what I will do as it is we will have to be picked up by ME around 8 am , now if they move it to later that would be fine with me.

I did not have anything major planned on our arrival day MK in the am and Epcot in the pm, but I have not decided to do lunch at the resort, pray our room is ready early and rest up for EMH at Epcot that evening.

I am planning on the dessert party on 10/22

So I have a question while we wait.....I know this probably isn't the best place to ask this but I have a captive audience so I'll ask anyway.

So how is the view of Wishes from this location?
Ever time we have watched Wishes it's been right on main street at Casey's - the show is perfectly lined up with the castle and is awesome.
So from the party has does it look?

Plus another question - I have two kids who will be 7 and 9, are they going to have any trouble getting a good spot to watch the show from? Are their seats you have to sit in? What if someone tall is in front of them.
