Thanks for this info! I called Disney and got our time changed to 9pm. We want to get the most of the party! How early should we get there, do you know? The CM on the phone said 5min. before, but I'm pretty sure I read to get there earlier than that for sure. TIA!

She told me 10-15 minutes. Last time we did this we got there 10 min early and it was plenty of time! They would not let you in before your time. So I am planning to be there 10 min early! See you there

I am so excited!!!!! I got mine!!!! August 28th @ 8:20 pm.!!!!

I did not get an e-mail confirmation, however, I was able to retrieve it with my vacation reservations.

I can't wait to get to Disney!!!!

Both times we've been, they let everyone in at 9:00 (once they've checked in with wrist bands) regardless of what the actual reservation time was. So we have had times of 9:10, but still gotten in at 9:00. Unless that has changed, I am not going to worry about the exact time of my reservation.

Strange. Each time I try to enter my own date manually, as soon as I leave the date field, it reverts back to today's date (5/29/2011). I must be doing something wrong.

ok tried it online with the 0 in front of the 8 for august and it worked

oh...we are also August 21st 9:00pm

Try putting 0 in front of the month - 08/01/2011....Call again, because August is open...

Yes, you have to type it in exactly ... 08/01/2011 or it will revert back. Zeros and slashes.

I had to do that back in February to reserve the Fantasmic package for September. By the time the calendar actually showed up online, most of the dates were already sold out from people calling or typing in the date. Crazy. I hope everyone gets their dates!

I never got an e-mail at all, mine is still showing on my ADRs list. My debit card was charged to my bank acct. as well.

I've had this happen on several of my ADRs (got a confirmation email followed by a cancellation one) and all my ADRs were still in place. It seems to be an issue with the system.

Just signed up for Aug 31. Ideally want Sept 2, but I figured a bird in the hand... One thing I noticed is that folks can cancel as near as 1 day in advance for a full refund. Which means for those who can't score reservations for their ideal day, there might still be hope (even on the day of).

My question for DISers is whether I could give away my seats if my child turns into a *witch* the day of our reservations. I would hate the $ to go to waste -- does anyone think I could give away my reservation # (and name) to some random people? Do we think that would be (1) do-able and (2) safe/wise?
