I had heard that you need to be there very early, because once they open the doors it's a crazy free for all to get the best tables... So is that not true? Do they seat people at specific tables? I hope it's not a free for all, that freaks me right out lol. Hoping to go to my first dessert party this December!

No, don't worry. The table is assigned. I am waiting for December opening too!

I have another question about timing. Mine is pretty streight forward, 9 res and Wishes at 10. But when wishes at 9 on other nights, like October, why do they show reservations for 7 when wishes is at 9?
Just wondering.

HOLY COW!!! This process about gave me a heart attack! I just looked on here to see Nov was opened and immediately went online to book for 11/13. Here's the process I went through:

1. Online - no reservations available for 2 adults
2. Called travel agent WDW # (I'm a travel agent) - no reservations for 2 adults (full)
3. Called regular dining line - initially told this date wasn't available yet. I then nearly flipped out stating people on DisBoards reported bookings and that I was a travel agent so this was very confusing. The agent realized she had a crazy person on the line :rotfl2: and went to check elsewhere. Yes, the date was available (surprise). But no reservation for 2 was available. I then stated we might have 3 people and went ahead and booked for 3. (Meanwhile seeing online a ressie for 3 was available.)
4. Called regular line again and was able to immediately adjust ressie from 3 people down to 2 with a refund back to our rewards card.

Going to try to catch my breath now. This is quite important as my 68 year old mother cannot stand long enough to hold a viewing space for Wishes - both of our favorite offering!

Crazy Horses:scared1: that was some slick system maneuvering! Congratulations on scoring your ressie, hope you both enjoy!

Interesting. This was over an hour after I got "no availability" for the 28th. Calling WDW-DINE now.....

Oops, sorry, I book mine a few hours before I posted my entry here. :worship: apologies!
But saw that you got yours already. Congrats, and maybe we'll see you there. We are a family of 5 Singaporean chinese. Should stick out a little in the party :)

I've been looking everyday for reservations and got busy this weekend. Really thought that it was going to open up tomorrow. Boy was I shocked tonight that people have been booking already. Tried to make my reservation No openings - oh wait, I put in for 3 quests and presto the spot is open. LOL
I've made my reservation for 3 and made the 3rd person a baby so I don't have to adjust my charge card when I call tomorrow. Whew one more thing done off my list.

Now if they would only tell us when they plan on doing the FL DVC previews and I can have a life back again/ LOl

Do you mean the FL AP previews? We are DVC and AP, but I hadn't heard anything about a DVC preview????

what are these previews you guys are speaking of?

I did see that through the end of the year ALL DVC members can take advantage of the BLT viewing terrace for Wishes.

So I got 9:00 for a 10pm Wishes, would there have been earlier times then that. There are choices of 7, 8, and 9 on the dropdown menu on the site, but just curious.

No 9pm would be the first available time for a 10pm Wishes

I just got Nov 14 for 7:05 pm. I haven't checked when Wishes is that day yet ....

Thank you DIS for alerting me about the availability... I'm on the Magic right now and we docked in Halifax this morning and I was able to get internet from my phone (Canadian mobile phone).... and booked the ressies just now. :D

Yes, When I heard tha AP holders were getting a preview I wrote to DVC and asked what about us. MS said we will be getting on too, I just had to keep looking so Ladies and Gentleman I now give you your latest obsession. Sorry. :scared1: LOL

WOW. I am watching for December - I just called Disney dining and was told NOVEMBER hasn't opened yet. Hmmm. This thread certainly tells me otherwise!

Same here for 11/18. That's why I always use the online system. No room for human error (except my own! ha! :) )

I thought that calling would get me at the front of the line...now I know subscribing to this thread and checking obsessively gives me a better shot! (They DO run it during MVMCP, right?)

:thumbsup2 Got my reservation!!! Did it online and will call for a front row table in the AM. Monday, November 26, 2012 - Time: 7:00 p.m. - Party Size: 5 Guests

First time for us doing the dessert party! Can't wait! :woohoo:
