I thought that calling would get me at the front of the line...now I know subscribing to this thread and checking obsessively gives me a better shot! (They DO run it during MVMCP, right?)

YUP! Mine is during MVMCP! Nov 27th for 11ppl-DD13th bday and my grandfathers 76th- the only special thing DD13 wants is the dessert party. Then she gave it up (in her head) for Chef Mickey) but shhhh its a surprise!:hyper:

:thumbsup2 Got my reservation!!! Did it online and will call for a front row table in the AM. Monday, November 26, 2012 - Time: 7:00 p.m. - Party Size: 5 Guests

First time for us doing the dessert party! Can't wait! :woohoo:

I dont think you can call and request a front row table.... its first come first served. so the earlier you book the better chance you have

Whenever I have been most of the front row seating is for parties of 2. There is an area where there are larger party tables that are not near the railing where you have a better unobstructed view.

It is a great time no matter where you are.

Several pages back someone posted that they were a party of 2 in the front row seated between (in the front row) parties of 5 and/or 6. It appears it is simply luck of the draw.

You can't request tables, I've tried it. And the size of your party doesn't matter. We've been a party of 5 right up front and a party of 3 in the back. It has been suggested that the earlier you book, the better seats you get. This has held true for us, but it might just be coincidence.

Could someone please tell me what "restaurant" to put in when searching for this? I can't find it for the life of me! Thanks in advance!

It isn't under a restaurant but under special events at the very bottom :)

It's not a restaurant. You need to click on "Dining Events" Under "where to eat" in the reservation section. Then click on "Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party". To the left is a link "Make a Reservation". That should do it for you. OR, click HERE

Good to know! I was a little bummed because we are a party of 4 this year and was hoping to get a good spot.

Thanks!

Glad I did this early. At least I hope I got in early. Went back to see if there was any tables left and got this.

We searched from 05:00PM to 09:00PM on 11/26/2012 and no times were available.

Do you need tickets to the MVMCP to be able to book the dessert party?

I don't believe they are having the dessert party on party nights this year, from reading here. But if they do, yes, you would need a party ticket to attend on those nights just like any other ADR during the party.

They are holding them on party nights. I booked it. And yes you need a party ticket to get in. I dont think its being held on MNSSHP nights though just the MVMCP nights

I booked a party for 11/8 for myself and DH... Really excited but this is the only day we were available to watch MSEP... So my questions are :

what time do they let you in the party?

Can we leave, watch the parade and come back? (how long is the parade?)

What is the closest spot to watch the parade from and come back? (if possible)

TIA

Thanks for asking this, I'm in the same boat. Booked 11/5 which is only day we can catch MSEP too. Awaiting the wisdom......:listen:

I wouldn't leave for the parade. See my answer at post 3214 in this thread and the other answers surrounding it, just a few days ago, and all the way back at page 215. (Can't post links yet; post count too low).

Thanks! I guess we can try watching from the party then :) an obstructed view is better than nothing I guess.

Just one more question... (I did see some answers on previous posts but still wanted to ask) which desserts would be the first ones to run out? (I previously saw mango shooters and pistachio crew brûlée) :) again thanks!!!
