Is there a restriction on the number of guests I can book? I'm only looking to book 5 (a party of 2 and a party of 3, together) and I thought it would be better to book 5 together instead of two separate bookings.

I'll be a first time Disney World goer, and I too am waiting anxiously for October to open up!

The website might be more effective than calling. According to some reports, it is loaded before the phone openings are. Never hurts to do both though.

The party can hold up to 50 people. So, book away up to 50--depending on availability, of course. You'll want to book everyone who is sitting at the same table together. So if your 5 are wanting to share a table, you NEED to book them together. If not, they NEED to be booked separately. Different names, email addresses and cc are required to book separately. At least online. If you call, you might have different luck. Also, there is no guarantee the tables will be near each other if booked separately. All tables are pre-assigned. It is a popular theory that the first to book receive the better tables. Time you book is irrelevant. Everyone can be seated at the same time once the party opens.

Hey, I'm a Dec follower too! I've seen y'all over on the Roll Call thread.

I just checked on some other ADRs today, and asked the CM about this party. She said Dec should be open on Oct 1. That may be a day early, but from reading here it can be +/- that 60-day mark. So there's our window to hit High Alert Status!!

I am going to go crazy waiting for October! Seems like I've been checking daily for months!

We don't have a DDP because we're going budget all the way, except for this party! This is the only ADR I want and it's the only one I can't have! Arghhhhh!

I only wish it would be September 1 because that would mean that October would have opened up yesterday. There is no real time frame, unfortunately. Last year, the first part of October opened 8/15 with the second part opening 8/16. November opened 9/16 and December 10/4. Even this year, May and June were both opened in March. No pattern.

The smart thing to do is subscribe to this thread (under thread tools) to help keep watch and check multiple times a day online once the month prior to yours opens. At least that is what I keep telling myself.
