Wishes Dessert Party ADR Watch Thread #3-book @ 180 Days Now!

Looking for a special experience to view the fireworks. Anyone done the Pirates and Pals Voyage? Do you think the Tomorrowland Terrace Dessert Party or the Pirates and Pals is the better way to go?

We have younger kids so I am thinking the Voyage might be better.

We love the dessert party and do it every trip, but have to say---- did pirates and pals for the 1st time in April, and was the most fun we've ever had in Disney!!! It's great !! Going back July 5th

We will be there Thanksgiving week and I was hoping for Wednesday November 26th but haven't had any luck yet. Anyone lucky enough to get a reservation for that week? I have to admit I've only been checking online. Perhaps that's why I haven't had any luck. I was lucky enough to get every adr I wanted that week for 6 of us. This might be the one that eludes me.

Is there any way to bring up the fireworks party on the mde app? I'd like to check for availability when I'm away from the computer. I suppose I can just use my phone browser, but I could not find it on the app and now I'm curious.

My husband was able to book for Nov 20th but it's during MVMCP. Was hoping to go on nov 18 but he said this is all he could get. Wondering if it was not open for Wishes dates yet? Or do they only open a few seats at a time. The time we got was 8:50. Is this a good thing? Not really thrilled with the idea of missing time at the party because this is our first time going to one and there are 5 of us so with both tickets it's going to be a 475.00 night! I want to go to this so bad but does it make sense?

We did the DP during the MVMCP and IMO it was totally worth it since if you arrive at 4pm it can be a long night and the DP affords you the best seat to view the "Holiday Wishes" which is a special 360 fireworks presentation, the visual effect from TT is just breathtaking.

It does make for an expensive evening but you will not be sorry. The first Christmas Parade will be going on during the time your at the DP but you gave plenty of time to find a great spot to watch the 2nd parade afterwards

Day 2 of my quest for TTFDP ADRs on 12/6. I tried again today and no dice. The Cast Member was nice enough to check the inventory for me and she said no one was booked for that night so that means it's not open yet for booking. I asked if there was a specific time it would open for reservations and she said any time a restaurant opens after the 180 day mark they could load it into the system any time during the day.

I know this isn't great information but at least we know it's not booked up.

I was hoping you would say that. I have been obsessing over it!lol I figure the odds of us getting it on a non party night are slim and I hate to give it up. Will we still have time to meet the 7 D's charachter a before we have to go to DP?

I think it's a great idea to do it on party night. You would have needed to find a viewing spot anyway and hold it for a while before fireworks started. This way you can relax and enjoy the desserts while you wait! I think it will make your party extra special.

Yes, that does make for an expensive night, but it wouldn't be any less expensive to do it on another night. You would reduce your cost per night, but still be spending the same amount in the end, right? lol

I will probably try to call again around 6p this evening. Then again at 7a tomorrow morning.

Hmmm... I might need a 12-step program when this is done.

I totally know what you mean. This is getting out of control. I wanted to be able to sleep past 5am. I am tired.

I have a reservation for November 24, I called to book it on May 24 because I couldn't get the website to work to book anything that week.

Why is this particular experience so disorganized and so uncertain?

This is a resort that wants you to plan potty breaks 6 months in advance with military precision, yet when it comes to wishes it's as if nobody who works for Disney has any idea what's up.

It's just bizarre.

Definitely not true--- we are booked for 11/29---- and I called before just to confirm and was told we are all set--- don't know why they are giving out info that's simply not accurate!

The funny thing is I called yesterday and today and asked also about 11/29 (we get in that day) and 12/1 and 12/6 and I was told that it was not open yet. This is just crazy with all these different answers. Not cool Disney
