Wishes Dessert Party ADR Watch Thread #3-book @ 180 Days Now!

Well that's just great. I'm kind of mad at the online system. It was not showing anything for a party of 4 when I tried, but there were several for 2 parties. It wouldn't let me book a 2 party ADR x 2, but they were available. By the time Disney opening and I got a CSR on the phone the other was gone, so now I'm stuck with 1x 2 party.

I'll keep it for now hoping that I can find another 2 party or swap for a 4 party at some point and will cancel if I don't find anything. Don't the other 2 in our party would appreciate being left out lol

I asked the CSR if they might take pity and let the other 2 in, she said they might but it depends on how full it gets. I'm not holding my breath and probably won't risk paying for it to not work.

I talked to 2 CM and also tried online. The CM's both said as of now the Dessert Party is all booked up that week. She could get me 12/6 but I leave 12/5.

@Kelly528: I will be looking for 12/6 when my ADR window opens up on the 5th. If you decide not to extend your vacation would you mind if we coordinated your drop and (hopefully) me picking it up?

I didn't reserve 12/6, I reserved then dropped 11/30. 12/6 was open this morning but I didn't purchase it. You have to purchase the tickets in advance via credit card.

We are going in December so I believe the 180 days is coming up very soon and would like to secure this, but some places are saying you can only get the Fireworks party 2 months in advance.

It is 180 days now. It used to be 2 months out is why you see conflicting information.

Today was my 180 day and I was trying so hard for the Dessert Party and she said the only opening she saw was 12/6. Maybe it will still be open when your 180 comes.

The thing that stinks is that when you 180 comes up 10 days prior worth of arrivals have had a chance to book your day. I think that's why there was nothing left when my time came up. I went right there at 5am.

You could always add 3 days to the beginning of your vacation especially if you are supposed to start on a sat....everyone arrives on sat making bookings hard...you could always book a few days earlier then change it later....it may be cheating a bit but I am sure others have thought of it

Looking to book this party sometime during Christmas week. My 180 day window opens near the end of June. With all the difficulty I've had booking this party for friends over this last year, I am worried that Christmas week may work differently somehow. Maybe it won't open 180 days in advance?? Fingers crossed!

Looking for a special experience to view the fireworks. Anyone done the Pirates and Pals Voyage? Do you think the Tomorrowland Terrace Dessert Party or the Pirates and Pals is the better way to go?

We have younger kids so I am thinking the Voyage might be better.

Called this morning and the party is only opened til Dec 1st right now and that was all booked. I was hopping for 11/29 or 12/6. I will keep call every morning I guess

See this is what makes me mad. I called today too. I checked for 12/3 and she said that it is almost at capacity (meaning ppl already booked it) but it is not the typical 50 people. So she said maybe more will be released. But she said usually they see something that says that more will be released and her computer didn't say it. I don't know, they all know different things.

I just spent 20mins trying to find out if any dates were available and I don't really know what the answer was. Am trying for 12/08 and had no joy. The website must be working though as I checked dates for the Illuminations one and it seems to be booking. Guess just have to keep checking and see if they either add more or if anyone cancels

I know. This just super stinks. Yesterday the CM I talked to said nothing was open for the end of November and now today it was opened and all booked. I don't think I will ever get this. I have been trying for 3 trips now

The CM I spoke to said they need to cancel 5 days in advanced and not 1. Not sure if that is true but maybe people will cancel?

I tried and tried for our trip memorial day week this month and never did get one So frustrating.
