The CM I spoke to said they need to cancel 5 days in advanced and not 1. Not sure if that is true but maybe people will cancel?

I believe that is true. I do seem to recall reading that in the cancellation policy for my November reservation.

Why does Disney make this so complicated? If they could just stick with opening this reservation at 180 +10 days, there would be no discrepancy from cast members telling us that a given week is booked.........or that the same week hasn't opened up yet. People are calling and getting conflicting information. It seems to me that it doesn't have to be so complicated??

After checking online non-stop for the past 3 months (we didn't plan our trip ahead), I was finally able to snag a reservation for 6/16.

If you're looking for a <180 day reservation, don't give up.

All the Cm are saying different things. The one I spoke to today said 12/1 and 12/3 are completely booked while the one yesterday said they aren't but reservations just aren't available at the moment. Who knows.

Kelly 528- when are you looking at going. I just got off the phone also and they told me nothing for 11/29-12/6. She told me everything was all booked, but the CM I talked to yesterday told me nothing was open for yet for 12/2-12/6

I know they keep telling me different stuff also. It is driving me crazy! I am trying for 11/29, 12/1, or 12/6. I will keep you posted if I see anything. Maybe we will both get the 12/1

I have a really hard time believing that these parties all booked so quickly !!

I was able to get a 9:15 for 11/29 this past Saturday (our 180+ 10 day) --- (was online @ 6:00am, working with 2 ipads !!) --

I must have booked the Dessert Party at around 6:30AM (after "BoG" and "Ohana")

The 29th was the date that I wanted, but also checked all dates from 11/27- 12/6, and not one time was available ! Could they have all been booked that soon !!!???

Looking to book this party sometime during Christmas week. My 180 day window opens near the end of June. With all the difficulty I've had booking this party for friends over this last year, I am worried that Christmas week may work differently somehow. Maybe it won't open 180 days in advance?? Fingers crossed!

Not sure about Christmas week but last year the special NYE fireworks parties did not open at 180.

Has anyone been able to book a ressie for the Dessert Party on or after 12/2? The Cast Member I talked to this morning said the last day they are booking right now is 12/1. She said she expects the rest to open in the next couple days.

So I spoke with ANOTHER CM today about the Tomorrowland Dessert party the first week of December and she said that there are only 4 families booked for the 1st (the date I want) and NONE for the remainder of the week, meaning they have not released reservations yet. I don't know what to believe but she seemed to go very in depth with whatever computer system she was looking at so I am hoping this is why we can't seem to get any reservations for the first week of December. She said to keep trying everyday.

Good news. I got the same exact response has you did about the 1st. She only saw 4 families booked and said it was not open yet. Finally a straight answer she also said nothing was booked or open for the rest if that week. Maybe tomorrow is our lucky day
