Must be a busy day. I'm on hold as well and I called right at 7.

I'm thinking it's busier because the Star Wars character dining became bookable at 7:00am today.

I just took another look at that email from Guest Communications... The times given to call are Sat thru Wed 10:30am-6pm and it was sent yesterday, Wed at 6:47pm! So.... I guess I can't make that call until Sat!

Just now finished my daily call... No change!

There was a time period when you could book July and August at 180. + 10. I've booked for August 3rd.

Apparently they changed that back to "we're not sure when we'll open a month's calendar" a few weeks ago.

I don't know whether or not July is fully booked,, but I have a confirmed ADR for August 3.

I am going June 25th to July 9th. When I look at the dessert party all dates up to June 25th are clickable. The 26th on is not clickable. I can click on the 25th and get a message that no tables are available meaning it is sold out. like I said the 26th on is not even clickable. So that says to me they changed prebooking time frames again. I was hoping for July 3rd. I will keep checking.

No - if you go back about 20 pages in the thread you'll find people that have parties booked over the summer, including July 3rd.

It's the parties after September 7th that have not opened up yet.

I think something is definitely going on with the dessert party booking. When I went to the link someone posted here for the dessert party, I was able to click on any date up to June 25th. But no matter what date I tried it said no tables available. I even tried days in May that would not typically be busy. I just find it hard to believe that those dates would be booked up.

I went to MDE on my cell and when I search for the dessert party it is not coming up. So I went back to my lap top and searched the dessert party. No days are clickable that way not from today on. My gut tells me something is wrong or they are changing from the 180 days.

We have done the dessert party several times before. So if I can't get it this trip it will be ok. I hope things work out for those who have their heart set on the party.

Possible that with the construction in the hub area that the dessert party may be curtailed?

September still not open this morning. Also had the CM check for bookings on the date I am looking for, and there are still no bookings (looking at September 10).

Same here for sept 13th. I'm hoping that they aren't going to cancel this party as OP referenced due to construction. Hoping Crazymom gets good info on her call tomorrow. Happy Friday!

Thanks for posting. Had insomnia last night. Up since 2:45am! So I'm glad there is no sense in my calling. Will try to call the number in the email tomorrow but I've got a busy day so it might have to wait til Sunday

I also received a response to my email. I missed the call but the CM (Reese) from Disney Dining Guest Support Team left a voicemail. She apologized for dessert party mess but said there is no way to do a waiting list. She said the reason for the dates not being released yet is in fact, due to the MNSSHP dates not yet being confirmed. She said they are keeping an eye on the location every day waiting for word to release the hold on the event and begin booking. She left me her direct number, and I haven't called her back yet. Is there anything you guys want me to call and ask her?

Can anybody tell me for sure if the first week in September has already opened and booked up??
I've only heard of 1 person who apparently has a booking for September 7th but we have been trying for that date since the beginning of March and have had no luck. We are staying offsite and starting to feel that with onsiters being able to book 180+10 there's now no chance of getting a booking otherwise and now it's pretty much an exclusive for onsiters???

Just spoke to the most helpful cast member yet. She put us on hold and spoke to guest services. The reason September is on hold is because they are "doing something to the area of the terrace/hub"
The manager has put a "lock" on September dessert party. She also told us that 6 reservations have been made for the 7th September, but these guests will be called back to say that their reservations do not actually exist?

Does anyone know if they offer the dessert party during the Halloween party? I'm seeing conflicting information. I read that some people booked this during the Christmas party.

Since we are going in October (all adults) and won't be trick or treating, this would be a great alternative in addition to MNSSHP.
