Wishes Dessert Party ADR Watch Thread #3-book @ 180 Days Now!

Hello all. I've been following everyday. I also have been trying to get into the September 10th party since March 10th. Trying everyday is driving me crazy! How bad is it when you start dreaming about it!?!? Normally I call and go online and try to book the party. Well today when I was looking online at all the open restaurants I noticed CRT was open. Then I thought that was strange bc I thought CRT was hard to get and they had so many open time slots. Then I went wait a minute... If they are saying the party dates aren't open yet because they might extend MNSSHP then why is CRT open? It's kinda the same thing in the fact that you prepay. Can't believe it took me a few minutes to figure that one out. What can I say I'm NOT a morning person. Working 3rd shift I don't start to function till much later in the day.

I think July is all booked up! I booked my July 4th ressie way back on January 9!

Ok now I'm confused. Some of the recent posts say yall are waiting for the end of June to book. And now some of you are saying it's 180 days and July is gone. Which is it?

The people that are waiting for June have missed their ADR date they are now waiting to see if slots open up (cancelations). The policy is supposed to be 180 days out however dates for the fall during the Halloween party have not been released yet as they are finalizing what dates the party will be held. Hope that helps!

Thanks for replying. But how come when I go to the reservation page for TTFP it only shows the next 60 days in blue that you can click on and the rest after are grayed out? Other places I have read that it's only 60 days in advance except for special occasions like July 4th, Halloween, etc, which are 180. Still confused :confused3

This has been a problem people are having, right now past 60 days you can only make reservations on the phone (as far as I understand from what I have been reading) The last time this reservation was officially 60 days out (or not on a scheduled date) was Oct for Dec reservations. In Oct they opened dates from Dec through March. I know this because I needed reservations for Dec and was shocked when I saw all the months open up. The planning of the dessert party is not an easy thing to comprehend even most CM's dont know whats going on. :lmao:

I was right there with you stalking this thread waiting for Dec to open last year and it was such a surprise when they opened up multiple months at once and started booking 180 days out. I originally subscribed to thread #1 back in July 2012 looking for a January 2013 date (which opened on Black Friday in November 2012 and really caught me off guard). I believe the first post list the dates when reservations opened up and shows how inconsistent this whole thing it. I totally feel for everyone struggling with this now.

Contributing to the confusion.... many websites that people use for WDW planning have failed to update to the change (180 day). They may have changed it by now but as of last week, allears.com still had it listed as a 90 day ADR.

OK I have an early meeting with an accountant, so I'm not even going to bother making the call this morning.
Thanks julie and jewel for posting! :)

I'm so confused:confused3. Trying to make ADR for July, but online everything is grayed out...makes me think they aren't open yet. Also, can you guys let me know the cost per adult and child. Is is prepared, or can you use the dining plan? TIA!pixiedust:

I thought July opened a while ago, so it may be full. But I could be wrong. From what I've read it's the September people who are having issues. Dining plan credits can not be used. Our party of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids) was around $80-$85 total. So maybe $25ish for adults and $15ish for kids.

I made our Dessert Party reservations for the last week in August back on February 24th. It is pre paid at the time of booking.. 3 adults was $84 - $27.99 per person (it came to $93.58 CDN on my cc statement) It is not included on the dining plans.

There was a time period when you could book July and August at 180. + 10. I've booked for August 3rd.

Apparently they changed that back to "we're not sure when we'll open a month's calendar" a few weeks ago.

I don't know whether or not July is fully booked,, but I have a confirmed ADR for August 3.

I booked back on Jan. 9th for the July 4th Dessert Party! This was the 1st day it opened up for reservations and it was at 176 days out. It opened up around 4pm EST to make that reservation. Other dates in July after the 4th were already open to reserve before the 4th became available. So I believe that July is already booked out. Though you may be able to get one if someone cancels. I paid $27.68 for an adult ticket.
