Wishes Dessert Party ADR Watch Thread #3-book @ 180 Days Now!

Hey all,

Forgive me for jumping in at the end of the thread (it's a loooooooong 100+ pages!) but I'm hoping to book the party for a night at some point during our honeymoon (between October 13th-17th). Our window doesn't open for 3 weeks, but I was just looking for some tips and pointers! Are there generally less busy nights? Am I thinking correctly it's better to call than to book online? Thanks for all the help :goodvibes

While we're letting everyone know about this, here are some more numbers to try:

Website Support
(407) 939-4357 (option 3 on the menu)

New Tickets and
Special Events
(407) 939-7679

From my experience, it never hurts to be the squeaky wheel. :thumbsup2

(FYI: Website Support will first try to transfer you to dining. Tell them you already spoke to dining, and keep pushing until they fill out a work ticket specifically for the Tomorrowland Terrace Dessert Party reservation page.)

Good info! I will be on this tomorrow!! :thumbsup2

Me too..... nothing! I called at about 7:10am and my CM said I was the 3rd person already this morning who was calling about this specific ADR!
Sending 2 more emails and making calls to the numbers posted eariler.

Anyone else noticing that all dates past June 18 are now greyed out and can't be booked? Has this changed to a 90 day window?

Nope definitely a 180 day ADR. Go to WDW's own page for Tomorrowland Dessert Party. Look under "Know before you go". States "180 day".
The fact that the calendar for bookings doesn't go beyond June is yet another glitch surrounding this "Special Dining Event"...... I'm beginning to think it's "special" bc it's near impossible to book!

It HAD BEEN a 90 day booking but changed to 180 day in October (? I think, don't quote me on when it changed, but it was recent)

I was wondering the same thing. Maybe they are changing back to 90 days. I don't want to have to keep waking up at 6 am for the next 3 months to check for the dessert party. The Hoop Dee Doo Revue is greyed out the same way, but is bookable at 180 days. I haven't called about this yet because I am still waiting for confirmation from the rest of my group if they are going or not.

This is a fear of mine as well. I do not enjoy talking to people at 7am. Much less going through the prompts day after day and then confirming my information again. I'm not sure how many times they need to change my address before it will stay changed.

But it was never 90 days on the dot. You never knew when it would really open or what time of day.

so this event has been a pain in the butt to reserve for a long time? I attributed it to the system and employees not keeping up with the switch to 180 days.
Several of the MANY CM's I've spoken to have checked and it IS currently a 180 day ADR. They are puzzled and apologetic as to why the booking ability is not yet loaded in their system.

been on the phone since 7am..they are saying an error message is coming up...im not hanging up just yet shes looking in to it more..idk

Still not open after September 7. I asked today when MNSSHP dates would be finalized since that is the reason dessert party dates are held up. The CM told me not until April or May.

Omg is cannot keep waking up and calling every morning until April or May. This is nuts!

If this is the case, WDW should "do the right thing" by their guests and start a "waiting list". Those of us who have been calling every day sohuld be able to "pre-register" for our desired dates and then, when and IF the party IS scheduled, we should AUTOMATICALLY be assigned tables!!!!! This forcing us to call every day, possibly for MONTHS, is NOT treating guests in a very "Disney-like" manner!!!:furious:
Sending an email to that affect right now!!
btw- for what it's worth, I tried again this morning and no change.

I agree! This is getting so INSANE! I emailed Disney on the 16th and still haven't gotten a response. I emailed them again this morning. This whole mess is so unlike Disney.

I just sent a very tersley worded email (which I doubt will do much good) basically stating the same thing. I'm at the point where I just want to throw in the towel and not deal with this anymore but it feels like all this time and all the calls would be for absolutely nothing then. I've been lucky enough to go to Disney for the past 30 years and this is very un Disney-Like.

I've been coming to WDW for years and somehow didn't even know about this event! Ugh! I tried to get ressies for 5 for May 16-23 but no luck. Not surprising now that I know how popular this event is! Guess we'll have to wait until our next trip! :sad2:
