Wishes Dessert Party ADR Watch Thread #3-book @ 180 Days Now!

Thank you so much! I'll definitely keep trying every day for the 8th then! I emailed Disney as well to see what they said and my reply said "Wishes dessert party can only be booked 90 days out and booking is only open to mid June currently." HOW CONFUSING!

It's really laughable how often people are getting this "90 day" (old history! changed back in Oct, I think) response. I've started each of my emails with "The official wdw webpage for the dessert party states this is a 180 day ADR" so I haven't gotten this as a response yet.

Along with the suggestion that they should strive to be more educated about the specifics of their job than the guests currently are! :scared1:
 
I spoke to a great CM tonight. She thinks what is causing issues is that Wishes is so early at 8:15 most of Sept (I was looking for 9/17) and that the system isn't loading it right because it is normally 9pm. She was going to send a note to her manager and then she said to call daily and ask for a 7:15 ADR and that should work to find it once the system is fixed. She agreed it should be 180 days. So, not sure that helps anyone but she seemed intelligent so I thought I would pass along the info!

Don't think this is the case as Wishes is scheduled for 10pm on the date I want the Dessert Party (Sept 10th) and also 10pm on the other days just beyond the 7th, the week most of us here are trying for right now bc our window just opened last week -- the 8th, 11th and the 13th.

Maybe. One CM (I think she was my "Saturday CM" LOL) Put in 8pm when she did the search. When I heard her say "8pm" I asked her to do 9pm instead bc of the late Wishes that night. She replied that the system will give her anything thats available 2 hrs before and 2hrs after the time she puts in.

All I am sure of at this point is that I now know WAY more than I ever cared to know about the Disney Dining Reservation system!! :rotfl:
 
I tried to book today for 8/26 but the CM said there was no availability. She wasn't sure if the date wasn't open or if it was fully booked. By reading this thread I'm guessing it's fully booked! Is it worthwhile to keep checking? Was thinking something that's prepaid probably won't have many cancellations.

If there are cancellations - they have to be made 5 days prior for the Dessert Party at the very latest.. Not the usual 24 hours.

I say keep checking. You just never know.

I hear you! I feel like I know more than the last few CM that I've spoke with. Between the two of us I bet we could write a course on the dining reso system :)
Heading to bed so I can wake up and make my daily call of frustration. Such horrible problems to have :) maybe tomorrow will be our day!!
 
Still nothing, but the CM this morning encouraged me to send an email to wdw.guest.communications@disney.com. She said the more emails they get about it the more likely they will do something about it. I know they are tired of dealing with this every day too.

The one I sent yesterday to that address (I think I had it right) got sent back to me undelivered. Just copied the address from you post above and sent same email again.
Getting really tired of this!:headache:
EDITED to add- I called again this morning. Nothing new to report.

I have just sent an email to this address and it has been returned undelivered.

Anyone else having this problem today?!
 
I got an undeliverable message also. I ended up going to the MDE site and sent an email via the contact us link. I just copy/pasted my email into their form. We'll see how that goes.
 
Just checking in to see if anyone plans on cancelling on May 18th. I only need one seat. We had originially booked as a group of 4 and now need to add a 5th.
