I've been coming to WDW for years and somehow didn't even know about this event! Ugh! I tried to get ressies for 5 for May 16-23 but no luck. Not surprising now that I know how popular this event is! Guess we'll have to wait until our next trip!

Would you insider the Epcot dessert and wine party??.

It's new and not yet as popular.

Don't give up on trying to get a reservation.. I just managed to get a booking for mid-June. Been trying several times a day for the last few weeks and this evening I got lucky!

so they cant book anything because the systems are doing updates and told me to call back in an hour....been looking for this reservation for over 2 weeks but apparently all restaurants are unbookable at the moment, i feel bad if today is someones 180 mark..... really frustrating

Had a great CM this morning that kept me on the phone while she rebooted her computer and got it up and running again. Still no dates uploaded but she did say it is because of the Halloween party. I told her you could look at the MK calendar and see when the nights are already and she said the meant nothing as they change those all the time. I guess Halloween party is so profitable they may be adding more nights than planned? She did a venue search and still nothing past the 7th

I hope they open the calendar as soon as dates are released and not when tickets for MNSSHP go on sale. They went on sale on May 1st last year. I keep googling to find historical release dates, but I'm not finding much. So, the wait continues!

So if this is the case, basically WDW is holding out for the chance of making more money. Bottom line: MNSSHP brings in more cashola than TT Dessert Party. They set the 180 day reservation policy but now they are not keeping to the policy that they themselves set and profitability is the motive! I'm sorry but this is not giving me a "warm and fuzzy" toward WDW. I would actually feel better if it was an IT problem preventing our ADR's!
So we may not be able to do our Dessert Party on the 10th of Sept bc WDW may decide they can make more if they kick us out of MK early and charge a large and seperate fee for guests to come in for a Halloween thing more than 6weeks before the actual holiday!
I totally get that WDW is in the business to make money. But I cannot agree that it's fair that they change a set policy to accomodate greed. A business policy is a "promise" to clients and should be honored!! If a customer tried to get a set policy bent or broken for our gain we would hit a brick wall! For example, maybe I'd like a REDUCED ADMISSION to MK on the day I am forced to leave earlier and don't get a "Wishes" bc a MNNSHP is scheduled???

Writing or calling every number/addy I can get my hands on. My message: WDW execs! TELL THE BEAN-COUNTERS THAT THIS IS NOT HOW DISNEY TREATS THEIR "GUESTS"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MNSSHP is a seperately ticketed event. The fireworks on those nights are different from Wishes, and included in the price of the MNSSHP admission fee. I've never been to one, so I cannot speak to what is happening at Tomorrowland Terrace during a MNSSHP event, but if there is anything, it's probably something Halloween themed.

Personally, I would NOT pay for admission to MK from opening to 7pm closing, then the admission fee for MNSSHP + an admission to a party that night at the Terrace.

I don't understand why they can't have the TTDP during MNSSHP. My sister & I did it during MVMCP in 2012.

What is the earliest they release these typically? We are going in October 2014, and I was assuming I could try to book at my 180 mark . . . That doesn't sound accurate, though, as I skim through the posts. Is it variable? Not excited about calling every single day for months . . .

I found it using the general reservation search NOT the one when you go the individual restaurant and search. There was still a 9:20 available a few minutes ago as well. I find it very odd that one search leads you to reservations and the other won't even let you choose the date to search. Hope this helps someone!

Can you be more specific about what you clicked on? I'm not looking for a date in June, but out of curiosity I just checked and for Sept 25 I got "No Times Available" for the TT Dessert Party.

I went into "My Disney Experience" then clicked on "Find a Table" under Make Dining Reservations. In that area I just searched by date and chose 9:00 as my search time. All the restaurants available come right up. Searching by restaurant and then using the reservation window to the right does NOT work. The days are grayed out.
