Wishes Dessert Party ADR Watch Thread #3-book @ 180 Days Now!

Any replies to emails? So far I have 2.

1st reply:

I apologize the website is giving you trouble.

Dining reservation arrangements may be made up to 180 days, in advance, for select restaurants and character dining experiences in our Theme Parks and Resorts, as well as our Dinner Shows. Be sure to plan ahead! Guests may call the Walt Disney World® Dining Department directly at 407-WDW-DINE (407-939-3463) a cast member will be happy to help you find availability for IllumiNations Sparkling Dessert Party.

Additional information on the various dining locations throughout the Walt Disney World® can be found on our web site:

After going back and explaining the dates I was looking for are less than 180 days, I received this reply:

"Thank you for contacting the Walt Disney World® Resort.

There may be an error with the site. Try to refresh your browser and cache, then try to make the reservations for Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party."

Here is the email I sent this morning:

Hello,

I am sending this email to try to get some information on when this
party will be available for booking. My 180 + 10 date was March 11 and
I was able to book all my other dining ADRs on that date. The
Tomorrowland Terrace Wishes Dessert Party was also supposed to be
available to be booked on that day. I have tried to book this event for
September 10 unsuccessfully every day since March 11. Can you give me
an idea of when this will be available for booking. I have spoken to
several Cast Members at the Disney Dining line, and they have all been
able to check and verify it is not open for booking yet. By the way
every cast member has been so great, and I know they are getting several
calls each day regarding this issue with booking the Tomorrowland
Terrace Wishes Dessert Party. They have all be kind and have encouraged
me to continue checking because no one has any idea when we will finally
be able to book the event. Any information you can provide would be
greatly appreciated!


Here is the reply I received:

Thank you for contacting the Walt Disney World® Resort.

While we sincerely appreciate your interest, this electronic mail
department does not have access to the Dining System in order to check
availability. We can tell you that dates for the Tomorrowland Terrace
Fireworks Dessert Party past 6/16/2014 have yet to be released, so they
are not able to be booked by anyone at this time. There has been no
information made available yet as to why this has happened. It is very
possible that this is a glitch in the system that our technical support
team are working to correct as the dessert party is showing that it will
be open and running in our internal calendar for September. We suggest
that you keep checking back and as soon as it is made available you will
see the dates open up online.

We apologize for all of the frustration and inconvenience this has
caused.

If you have questions or need further assistance, feel free to contact
us.

Now I know they gave incorrect information in their reply since I know others have been able to book this up until September 7 not June 16 as stated in their reply. I'll just continue to check online at 6AM and call at 7AM until they open it up. :rolleyes2

Noticed as well on the online calendar, the last selectable date is 16 June....at least your reply has a bit more info (albeit inaccurate) than the replies I have received so far! :headache:

This is the exact same response I have just received following a 4th, and slightly frustrated, email. One of the replies I received was giving me info on how to change my resort and dates of stay?! :headache:

Hopefully we are getting somewhere, albeit slowly :surfweb:

Then why don't you oh, I don't know, forward it to someone who CAN answer it?

I really and truly do not spend much time thinking about the dessert party - it's just that Disney's non answers drive me nuts.
 
My streak of talking to people who knew what was going on ended today. No reservations could be made for Sept 11. She was very nice and found a restaurant with availability in EPCOT that we could eat dinner that late at.

I think you have have gotten one of my CM this morning that I've been dealing with :) the lady I spoke with this morning seemed to know what was going on but still had no answers as to when this will be open but did suggest I try to call again. REALLY???
 
The CM I spoke with this morning just started laughing when I told her what/when I was looking. She said the ONLY calls she had so far this morning (this was at 7:45 EST) was for this :lmao: I think the CM's are getting as frustrated as we are. :faint:
 
I don't understand, they have posted their hours for September. It is pretty clear when MNSSHP is going to be. Just let us book already. I'm annoyed and I have only been trying for 4 days I know some of you have been trying for over a week. Grrrr!

Ten days for me
I am going to send again the email I sent yesterday. From here on out I plan to send that email once a day. We shd all do this until they get sick of us and DO SOMETHING about it!
 
The most frustrating part is the thought that if we miss just one morning of calling and that happens to be when the system gets loaded, the party for our night could be booked up in just a few hours! That would mean all the many calls over many days were for nothing and people who happened to call for the first time that morning would get a reservation but we would not! kWIM?
 
I got an undeliverable message also. I ended up going to the MDE site and sent an email via the contact us link. I just copy/pasted my email into their form. We'll see how that goes.

Yes! My Monday email was sent to the same address as my tues one, but Mondays got returned Tuesdays did not. Weird!
EDITED- OOPs, sorry, just checked.... tuesdays got sent back too. last night, after i went to bed!

It is different from the one that some of us have been using w/o successs (wdw.guest.communications@disney.com)

I just sent one using the WDW help page communication system but I am ALSO sending one to this new address too!

I will respond again today to the email and see what I get. We are going on 9 days now of this madness. I agree with the OP that the biggest kick in the rear will be if we miss one day after being diligent this whole time and the party gets booked up. I know it's not the end of the world but this reso has become somewhat of an obsession after trying for this many days in a row when it should have been a no brianer the first day.:furious:
 
Man I was hoping a lot of people didn't know about the Dessert Party!!!:rotfl2:
I was hoping to get a table for May!!! Guess I'll have to keep calling and crossing my fingers!!!
