June 8th is the latest I can see online.

Are trying to book directly through the Wishes Dessert Party page?

I was having the same issue with dates not showing up past early June until I logged into MDE and went through the reservation system that way. When I tried to book through the site I linked above, it just wouldn't cooperate. I was able to book the Sept. 7 (180 + 10) party this morning.

Clicking that link or going through MDE gives same results, only to June. I do have a reservation for our trip late April, I was just checking for others here if there seemed to be a change.

Remember, Disney is always a few crayons short of a full box when it comes to IT.

Honestly, I think this explains it all! Including many other glitches we experience and hear/read about related to MDE!


So just off the phone. CM put me on hold to "check with" supervisor. Came back to tell me that:
YES- booking for Dessert Party IS available 180 days out by phone.
YES- there is a party scheduled for my date (9/10)
NO- it is NOT booked. Rather the dates of Sept 8-13th are "not loaded" into their system for booking availability.
YES- I should call back but not until tomorrow bc the systems are "loaded" in the mornings and would have already loaded for today. So check back tomorrow morning and every morning after until I find the 10th to be open for booking.
I am hopefull but still wondering WHY we are put through this when we SHOULD be able to book with the same ease as other ADRs. Afterall, I have resort reservations, registered with MDE, have a cc registered to it and it's 180+10 from my check in.
I am happy that I WAS able to make ALL of my other ADR's for our trip, online, with little to no issues at all.

Are you logged into your MDE account? Once, when the site had timed out and automatically logged me out, I suddenly got NO clickable dates. But when I logged on again, the dates showed up to June 8th, as it had shown for me previous to being logged out.

NO- it is NOT booked. Rather the dates of Sept 8-13th are "not loaded" into their system for booking availability.

I booked it online for a party of two this morning. When I checked at 6:00, there was nothing available. This one randomly popped up at 8:00.

Was hoping to come back and read parties were open after the 9/8. I'm still calling later this afternoon and at 7am tomorrow. Was really annoyed yesterday when we woke up at 6 (feeling like it was 5 am) to schedule it and then again at 7 to try again.

Also thank you to everyone who is posting updates. Its good to know I"m not crazy.

Who knows! I feel like I have to try the app, safari, firefox and explorer over and over! For sure when I am logged in now though it only goes to June 8th.

My husband is in HRIS - based on what he has been through I'd say that a. the powers that be are making things go live while IT is pulling their hair out and wanting to do more testing and b. Disney had NO business rolling out FP+ and magic bands until they got their crappy website and app up to snuff.

Im on hold now with a super helpful CM who is on hold with Guest Relations because she agrees that it shouldn't be available to some guests and not to others depending on any given moment and the systems glitchiness. Who knows if she is going to be able to do anything for me, but at least I feel like she is doing her very best.

She did try to tell me that it was still 90 days after she couldn't get it to book, then I told her I have seen screenshots of confirmed reservations in Aug and Sep (a bit of a white lie, lol) and she got Guest Relations on the line.

I'll update when I get off the phone.

Thanks for the update! How frustrating!! Why is it difficult to just load all dates 180+10 like they do for the other restaurants? Good luck this week!

thanks! Oh yes, lots of planning went into it (as with most people here on the disboards).

Interesting that
#1- the website only allowing clickable dates from 90 days out and (edited to correct myself- July 8th is 90 days out from my check in. So, not sure
what the June 8th cut off is all about)
#2- Some CMs telling people that it's only available 90 days out

When I realized that 9/7 would work for our schedule, I called WDW. She said no availability for that night. I asked about 9/11 and same response. I asked "no availability or dates not loaded?" and was told their system shows the same screen either way - it doesn't distinguish between the two scenarios.

Oh Disney! Calling you is like playing roulette!

LOL I called again this afternoon too. Nothing different. The CM (male this time) was very helpful and puzzled by the whole situation as well. He clarified what is meant by "not loaded" into the system. He said it means that the restaurant's tables (with empty seats showing) are not showing on their screen to be filled. He was very sympathetic bc he said, "Technically you SHOULD be able to make this reservation." He said he's going to send a note to his supervisor with the details of our phone call and my observations and concerns.

The one saving grace in all of this is I have ONLY spoken to willing CM's. Not one so far has seemed uncaring or apathetic.
