Finally was able to book 28th for seven people.

O.k. I guess it is my turn to start stalking this thread . We will be there in October (1-9) and want to go the the party on 10/2. I know I have at least a month before I have to really start stalking this thread, but I can always start a little early in hopes that it will open up the first week of August . Congrats to all of you September travelers and getting the dates that you wanted.

Thank you so much to all of you who posted that sept. was open! I called and was told it was not and then when I told the dining rep that I saw posts with people who had made reservations in Sept she checked again. Surprise, she was wrong and yes Sept was open!

Made my res for Sept 11, Yeah.

Last year we had a travel agent planning our vacation and told her that dessert party was our number one must see. She missed the opening for booking and we missed out. So glad I found the DIS this year!!!!

Now I can go back to sleep. Sick in 90 degree weather. No fun.

Finally got a reservation for 6 on 9/22. Kept getting the blue spinning circle. I called about 30 minutes ago and the CM told me the date wasn't open yet. Called 10 minutes later, got a new CM, and booked. Whew. Now I need a drink.

Is is better to book a 8:00 or 8:20 sitting for 9pm fireworks?

Does not matter, everyone is allowed in at the same time regardless of the actual ADR time. That is simply a booking thing with Disney's system. Tables are preassigned also, the earlier you make a ressie (actual booking not ADR time), the "better" your table.

Just realized when booked res on the 11th, Disney rep did not tell me how much was charged to card for one adult and one child. She took my credit card info. Do they charge you right away, or when at party? Are we supposed to get tickets like the MSSHP or are these res like all other dining res?

Also, I am booked for 8pm on the 11th. The Disney rep said get their a few minutes before 8pm. But after reading the posts here, am I correct that I have to get in line at 7pm for 8pm res?

Oh and anyone know anything about the cancellation policy? CM was clueless as per usual.

Two days prior to your party date for a refund, otherwise nada.
